Great food, warm and friendly staff, cold beer on tap and music. What more can you ask of a local hangout? Be sure to try one of their burgers. Pub food is a specialty, but the dinner menu is well executed.

The building itself is a real treat to visit. Amazing "faux" brick walls that truly fool the eye. The bar scene is fun, loud and you will be back.

My husband & I visited St. Michael's this past weekend and were looking for a local place for dinner. Well we started out at Carpenter Street where we were going to have dinner. I definitely is more of a bar atmosphere which we didn't mind since they also have dining tables. We sat ourselves and an unfriendly waitress brought over the menus and took our drink order. We started out with nachos as well. The nachos came out with a plate full of tortilla chips, bean beans, some salsa and a few spots of half melted cheese......needless to say this was VERY disappointing. The waitress came over to take our dinner order, which we obviously would not be placing since they couldn't even get the appetizers right. My husband asked the waitress why there wasn't any sour cream AT ALL on the nachos when it clearly states on the menu that the nachos come with sour cream and where was the CHEESE since that is one of the main ingredients on nachos. She told us that they don't put sour cream on the nachos unless we ask for it (confused because the menu lists that as one of the items on the nachos)....then she said that's how they make their nachos.....interesting- without much cheese & no sour cream- NO THANKS! We asked for our check & paid the bill....moving along to the Irish Pub down the street for some real food. The waitress did remove the nachos from our bill though.
I think C-Street is more for drinks at the bar, but food- I wouldn't recommend. The bar scene seemed very busy & exciting with friendly bartenders...

For 7 years we have been going to "C Street" for breakfast at least once a week--sometimes more. Last week our food came out cold but our waitress was kind enough to heat it up. But the flavors that have been there in the past sure aren't there any more. Today we went in to give another try and not only was the flavor gone but they tried to charge us $16 for a waffle with chipped beef gravy (which we had been paying $8). Our waitress spoke to the cook/manager and came back to advise that he would lower to $12. The waffle was not as good as it had been in the past, there was not even a sufficient amount of gravy and they want to charge more! We left money to equal what we had been paying in the past and walked out. No more chances-- will miss some of the waitresses!

When we arrived the place was filled with hunters coming in from the field so we thought it was going to be just a bar. Glad we went in because if we had not we would have missed out on great Old Bay and garlic wings, the best hamburgers I have had in a long time, and a really nice comfortable place.
