The label "pizzeria" doesn't do justice to this restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, healthful, and tasty. The presentations are beautiful. We were three and each person's order was marvelous. The chicken was tender. The string beans were fresh and cooked just enough -- no more. The sauces were memorable. The decor is simple and attractive. It's well located on the main street near the church. I look forward to returning.

Excellent pizza, would have gone back a 3rd time, but my husband said we should try something else. Had the meatball with carmelized onion and the boardwalk-style with charred pepperoni. I personally prefer the boardwalk, which is cheese covered, versus the margherita which is blobs of mozzarella. Great, crispy crust. If it is not too hot, sit out back on the patio. Very clever and unique water fountain using beer taps. Perfect spot to enjoy a drink. I would eat there every week if I lived closer.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this place! So much so that we went 4 times in the 5 days we were in St. Michaels! Hey, after spending $80 on a so-so meal (Chespeake Crab & Steak House) we decided to keep going where we loved. The pizzas are gourmet and to die for - and I truly became addicted to their fennel anhd arugala salad with lemon vinagrette. And let's not forget the TO DIE for meatballs. Also amazing, was the spicy shrimp app with a fabulous sauce to dip their bread in. YUM! Plus, the service was fabulous. For 3 visits we had Mick, a nice and very personable young man who recognized us each time and remembered what we liked. TOTALLY go to this place!

Well, not too dark. It was drizzling, and we'd looked at several other places along Talbot St. We tried Ava's, looking for pizza or other Italian food. The wait was short and we landed a table outside. The hostess promised we wouldn't get wet (we didn't) and Jesse came by quickly for our order. We wanted pizza, but the next table was served a great-looking meatball sub. I chose that and Deb had the pasta Bolognese. The wait was short and Jesse protected the food and drinks on her four-step walk in the rain to serve us. The sub was outstanding, with tender meatballs and bread that stood up to the sauce (and weather). The pasta was layered, almost like lasagna, instead of spaghetti-like noodles. It was also outstanding. We opted for a chocolate cupcake and lava cake for dessert. The cupcake was great, fresh and not overly sweet. The other was more like a flourless torte than a cake with molten chocolate We highly recommend this place..
Don't park your SUV in the back lot... it's tiny and shared with the place next door.

This place has all from amazing food, great service to delightful atmosphere. It was a rainy Wednesday and restaurant was pretty full inside but quickly we sat down at the bar area. Bartender was very helpful and well informed about the menu, he suggested Wasabi Oysters for appetizer...great choice, for main course I ordered Pasta-Shrimp la devilo (not sure about spelling) and my boyfriend ordered Short Rib sandwich. Both had incredible taste!!! Did I mention he made awesome Cosmo?! ;) We were so amazed by this place, we are going back there today to try their pizza ;)))
