We took what was literally the first cruise of the season on the Patriot. Had a very interesting ride. The narration on the history of the area and the Miles River was informative and the Captain pointed out several historical mansions and places of interest on the river. We got to see some osprey nesting and even a deer swimming across the river! (No worries, according to the Captain, deer are good swimmers and make the river crossing with ease)
Once out in the middle of the river, the Captain allowed a few small children at a time up into the pilothouse for a short while. Our trip was not that crowded so they may not do that all the time but it was a great treat for my 4 yr old.
The Captain and all of his crew as well as the woman in the ticket office were extremely nice and helpful. It was a very pleasant ride from start to finish. If you are in St. Michaels, I would highly reccomend it.

My husband and I were recently in St. Michaels celebrating our first anniversary and had comlimentary tickets for the cruise. We really enjoyed ourselves, even though it literally was a "cool" ride:) Captain John and his wife were very cordial and knowledgable about the area and made the overall experience wonderful!

I join other reviewers in highly recommending this little cruise along the Miles River. We were staying with friends in Easton who took us last Sunday. Entertaining and instructive. Very friendly and relaxed crew and captain. The bar makes a mean pink gin which as I'm from England was much appreciated! Bonus for us was the fact that the ship had been privately booked for a US Marines wedding party immediately afterwards so we returned to the dock to see the wedding party all lined up at the dock in their sparkling white uniforms!

We had an amazing cruise with Capt. John. He was funny, entertaining and engaging with the kids. The views during the cruise were amazing.

To top it off, the kids were able to "drive" the boat. Great family outing!

Would highly recommend!

Easton Rotary celebrated it's 91st anniversary and a past presidents 75th birthday aboard the Patriot the middle of September. The captain & crew were wonderful to work with and everyone had a grea time. Weather couldn't have been more perfect and the sunset was divine. Thank you for making our celebration something to remember.
