“A Nice Ride”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

We know the Bay well and enjoyed the ride down to Tilghman Island. However, there isn't much to see and do. The main event is Bay One Hundred Restaurant next to the bridge right before you go over to the Island. Have lightly fried oysters and sit and watch all the boats navigate Knapps Narrows.

“Stuck in Mud”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

Rented a kayak, followed map directions and still got stuck in super shallow water, oh well. Live and learn.

“Paradise”

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet town on the Chesapeake. Good restaurants, nice for walks, bike rides, fishing, and crabbing.

“Experience "waterman" living”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

Our innkeeper directed us to Capt. Wade Murphy for an evening Skipjack cruise. What a character but also what an experience. Capt Wade is extremely knowledgeable about all things "Bay". Learned much and was allowed to pilot the boat! What a thrill! One of those moments one never forgets! Had a nice meal in town afterwards.

“Great place for a sunset at the tip, not much else”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

The southern tip of Tilgman Island is a great place to watch the sunset over the Bay and a good place to do some shore fishing, but the Island does not have that much to offer. The day we were their the main restaurant on the island was closed for dinner. They have a small museum next door about the island's history and it was closed. There is a nice parking area at the southern tip and a bed and breakfast, Black Walnut Point Inn. If you just a quiet place to sit and watch the sun go down it is a nice venue. There are no restroom facilities near by the point.
