We spent a day there and the weather was sunny and warm. The staff were very helpful and the exhibits were interesting.

This is a "Do Not Miss" part of any trip to St. Michael's. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here to see and experience everything.

“Beautiful views and history too!”

This is one of my favorite places for a relaxing walk around on a nice fall day. There is indoors and outdoors and plenty for kids of all ages. Food is not on site but within walking distance. Hint: join as a member and your visit is a lot cheaper, plus you get a discount in the gift store which is a great place to buy souveneirs.

“Better than expected!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2011

Visited the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for the first time in early October for the yearly Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival. The weather was bad but the museum was an unexpected gem. Great overview on a disappearing way of life.

You will enjoy learning about the big business of crabbing, oystering, clamming & light house living. Very cool and worth checking out.
