If you are staying in this area ths is a good, clean, centrally located hotel close to Congressional Plaza and some food outlets. The hotel is located very close to the metro - it's right behind the hotel

I traveled to this hotel on business and stayed on July 14-19,2017. Well, I didn't actually get to the hotel until July 15,2017 due to my flight being canceled and being rebooked on July 15, 2017. From the moment I arrived at the hotel until I left the front desk staff was of tremendous help to me as I was in charge of around 188 Boy Scouts who had come to tour Washington, DC before heading off to their camp in West Virginia for their Jamboree. I also had a coworker who was also working at this hotel helping with the 188 Boy Scouts. The front desk went above and beyond the call of duty in helping my coworker and myself with providing this group with the best service possible. Front Desk staff are: Freddy, Nina, Ashley, Olorina, Troy, Kossivi, Nafi and the awesome bellman Warren. Y'all were awesome!!! Thank you for your help. The banquet staff also went above and beyond the call of duty with preparing breakfast for these Scouts each morning. The breakfast staff are: Manuel, David, Wassim, Ho-Ching . Y'all were Awesome. I can't wait until I return next season and I hope to be able to come back to the Hilton Washington DC /Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. Keep up the good work and to the GM of this hotel you have an awesome staff! Vanessa in sales is also awesome! If you are ever in the Rockville, MD area this is the place to stay. 👍😀

The recent renovation has definitely upgraded rooms and restaurant/bar. Staff is very uneven had a great experience at front desk checking out but horrible experience checking in. Bar and restaurant service was terrific. The location is not good -- on a multi-lane road with restaurants fairly close but mainly in strip malls or shopping centers. Interesting Middle Eastern eating options.

I've stayed here many times for government-sponsored meetings. The hotel has a giant atrium with two rows of rooms circling its perimeter. The inner row of rooms has a front and back door and windows that open on the inner hallway but no windows to the outside. It is one of the only hotels I know of where a sizable portion of rooms have no windows to the outside. The atrium is a giant echo chamber. This has been partly mitigated because in recent years glass panels have been installed in the inner-most hallway so that the atrium is acoustically isolated from the rooms. However, the walls are paper thin and there are doors connecting between rooms. I was here most recently for a large conference and a family of six with four small children (and possibly a dog, but couldn't be certain) was staying in the room next door. The younger children screamed and cried throughout the nights I was here. This was a very unusual situation for a business-oriented hotel and I suspect that perhaps social service agencies are renting out the rooms as temporary housing but this is only conjecture. At any rate, my request for another room was not accommodated, allegedly due to the hotel being full. I have never had a great stay here and this was by far the worst of several.

Room tip: Ask for a room in the outer perimeter

We had a family reunion in this summer with 15 people at this hotel. We experienced excellent service with all of service included check in/out, room service and breakfast. The front desk were so nice and quick. The rooms were quit and very clean. The breakfast were very delicious and fresh. The location is very convenience. You can walk to Safeway (24 hours) and shopping center and very close to Metro station to Washington DC.
