Trapezaria Greek restaurant opened in August 2013, a block away from the Rockville Town Center. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by the hostess and our waiter, Spiro. We immediately noticed the decor had an authentic look of a Greek taverna with white table cloths and blue napkins. Our waiter described all the off-menu specials and made menu recommendations as well. The menu offers both mezze sized portions as well as full size dinners. We had an assortment of mezzes and a full dinner. The mezze portions were very generous. We had the non-meat Dolmades and Garides Saganaki (shrimp baked with tomatoes and feta). I had the lamb Youvetsi that was fork tender and served on a bed of orzo pasta. There is a good choice of wine by the glass and my favorite Greek beer, Mythos, is available. We topped off the meal by splitting a delicious and large portion of Baklava. We had a great meal at a reasonable price, $64 including tax. There is also free parking located behind the restaurant. It's great to have a second authentic Greek restaurant located in Rockville!
