I have always shopped at the little market attached to this restaurant but rarely ate in the restaurant... that is, until it was renovated. Now this is a favorite lunchtime spot.
This is a great place for truly authentic Persian food. The kebobs are wonderful especially the "barg" which is beef filet. They make their own "doogh" which is a beverage made of fresh mint, plain yogurt and seltzer water... really a treat if you've never had it. Be adventurous and try one of the stews called, "koresh." The service is sometime a little slow when they are crowded but overall, the staff is pleasant and helpful.

This was our third time at this establishment. The foods are consistent. The staff is friendly & efficient. You are served flat bread with onions as soon after being seated. We had 3 orders of lamb chops, a cornish hen and a combo ground beef & sirloin kabob. 2 of the 3 lamb chop dinners were good but the 3rd had a lot of gristle. The combo kabob & cornish hen were very good. The prices are reasonable and the foods were prepared quickly.
There were 3 nice size lamb chops plus tons of balsamic rice for $20. We had lamb chops previously which were always good. Will go back again.

The growth of this eatery over the years reflects the excellence of the food. I have been eating here for over ten years and my most recent visit sustains the outstanding reputation they have in my book. They have excellent kabobs and I especially like some of the harder to find items like kuku (herb fritatta) and homemade dough. Definitely must try this place if you like kabobs and Persian foods.

This restaurant is very airy with a pleasant atmoshphere. The food was very freshly prepared and had wonderful flavors.

The kabob-e chenjeh is a beef kabob with sirloin, peppers and onion - delicious! Avoid the Pomegrante Stew, though. It just wasn't very good flavor blend.

Yekta has a middle eastern grocery store where the pallet is delighted by fresh and dried exotic produce such as fresh figs, pistachio nuts, and dates as well as many canned and bagged goods such as a range of rice and jams etc.... The restaurant is first class with great service, delightful ambiance and reasonable prices with the menu of very traditional Persian dishes, the most popular and tasty of which are their kabobs - a visit with someone familiar with Persian cuisine is advised fro the most compatible dish for the individual guest.
