Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’.That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

We planned our office summer 'picnic" at Go Ape, and had a wonderful time! The facility is unique, close to our location (central MoCo) and the folks working there were very helpful and laid back. We brought picnic refreshments for our troupe (about 25) and we all enjoyed a very interesting evening, even though it was the hottest day of the year. Employees of our office could not have been happier with this unique interactive experience.

Be sure to allow enough time - the introduction and safety training take a bit of time, but after you are up in the trees, you go at your own pace!

We are a nonprofit youth organization that has visited Go Ape several times and we have had a great time each visit! In October 2011, we brought six high school youth with us and they all loved it. They were scared, excited and very proud of themselves over the course of the two hours that we were up in the trees. The different high ropes elements and zip lines were all well thought out and lots of fun. At several points during the course there are options that users can choose to either increase or decrease the level of challenge involved. We found this really helpful as our youth have varying degrees of comfort with being so high in the trees! This is a great place to safely challenge your fears and help others face theirs.

Go Ape staff are friendly, outgoing and always put us at ease. They explain the safety procedures in a clear way and are always nearby if you need extra assistance. I highly recommend spending an afternoon at Go Ape - you'll leave feeling exhilarated!

I took a group of 10 middle schoolers with 5 18+ chaperones on a friday afternoon. The staff explained the safety measures in a way the kids could understand, and with enough emphasis so that we knew how important these safety measure were. The event took a couple hours, and still the group was dissapointed that it eventually had to end. All the volunteers were happy to spend her free time at the course and the kids and their parents have not stopped telling me what a great time they had. Thank you Go Ape!

On a hot summer day it is perfect place to be. The instructors are patient and polite, they make sure everyone understands and follows the safety rules. All the equipment is in good shape. I am 51, and IMO the course was just the right length and not too hard to complete. It was very exciting for all of us. Compared to an amusement park it is more expensive, but I would still choose Go Ape!

this was planned as a special way to spend Easter. The weather was perfect and we had a great day. It was exciting but safe. It was well managed and the staff was enthusiastic. We hope to return to try and to master some of the course.
