This intimate yet homestyle restaurant consistently delivers incredible food. After spending this past weekend in Rock Hall and eating dinner and 2 breakfasts at The Kitchen, we were never disappointed.

Dinner was unbelievable starting with the most delicious and generous serving of crab dip (tip, share with another person), the crab bisque was off the charts and again a very generous portion! The beet and goat cheese salad with walnuts was fabulous . All of our entrees were
cooked to perfection, in particular the swordfish was exquisite, moist and tender.

Breakfast; the omlettes are amazing, never greasy or runny with an offering of many fillings. The eggs benedict are the best ever with the option of crab meat to be added which is pure decadence, and I highly recommend it!

Come hungry, great value for the money

Light & airy, I had a goat cheese & my husband had the kitchen which was loaded. Came with great tasting home fries and wheat bread. We look forward to going back for dinner and may even make a special trip for that to Rock Hall, MD.

We live in nearby Chestertown, and frequently visit Rock Hall for errands and the like. Never found a place for lunch we liked until today. Caesar Salad was delicious. BALT sandwich likewise. Reviewed the dinner menu, and will be back for more.

Enjoyed another delicious meal at The Kitchen. I had the evening's special - perfectly cooked rockfish served with two jumbo shrimp atop rice and asparagus in a slightly sweet Asian broth. Wonderful! Others in our group enjoyed the crab cakes. We enjoy chatting with the owner/chef, and like the small, cozy atmosphere. The restaurant was packed on a Sunday evening.

I am Born and Bred Eastern shore local- Have eaten oyster stew for 40+ yrs.all over the East Coast. The Kitchen totally got it right. The texture and taste were exactly what you expect traditionally...I walked up to Fall Fest with stew as the goal and a few Raw, with Fido in tow- couple of hours before Fall Fest ending- Everyone had already Sold Out! Bee-lined to the Kitchen expecting the same...Got lucky, they spooned up enough for a to-go bowl!! Yeah!
Unbelievably Silky, Creamy, Buttery, enough Fresh Plump Oysters and just the right seasonings- with a very slight "Kitchen-ess" compliment. Purely Perfect. Only missing the traditional Oyster crackers!!! Maybe homemade "OTC"'s in the future??
Highly recommend the Oyster Stew!

Happy people, Happy dogs, great music and a warm bowl of awesome oyster stew. Doesn't get any better than this...
