Waiter didn't seem to know what was available on the menu. Food was delivered not heated consistently (crab dip). Waiter never came back to check on us or offer refill on our drinks. Food was overpriced. We would never go back to this restaurant again.

Rock Hall Maryland is known as "The Pearl of the Chesapeake" and no doubt Pearl on Main showcases the bounty of its location on the great bay. Paul Brinkley, the executive chef at Pearl on Main is committed to showcasing the extraordinary bay-farm-table offerings available on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Paul and his partners grew up in the area and know the local farmers as well as the meat and seafood suppliers. The seafood is just hours old and the grass-fed meat from just down the road. Paul is an excellent chef and his food is very well prepared. The menu is diverse and interesting. And best of all, this restaurant has the advantage of great seafood fresh from the the Chesapeake each day.

Pearl on Main will soon be moving into a historic building across the street and the new space will allow for an upgraded wine offering and adequate space to accommodate summer seasonal visitors. But even in the off-season, expect an excellent meal and southern hospitality.

As a side note, Paul employs and mentors several young people in the community who will be well served by Paul's leadership and their experience at Pearl on Main.

What a refreshing experience. Outside of Chestertown, this little gem is worth the drive. I had rockfish that was delicious, and my husbands crab martini and crab cake were great also. Friendly, family run, very good food, we will return.

Family owned. We found this restaurant by accident. It had a cold beer sign on the street corner with an arrow. Wow what a find! Check it out good stuff.

Place has 18 seats, so reserve.
Paul the owner served us on a late monday eve, a real nice young man; as was the chef who came out to sit near us.
It was closing, we were last customers.
The salmon and rockfish were excellent.
