What a wonderful place to stay. Short walk to the bay with a dock, kayak and Adorondak chairs to enjoy the beautiful cove. Woke to the birds singing. The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable , great views, nice art . We also had a fabulous gourmet meal at "The Kitchen on Main". With the terrific accomodation at Huntingfield Creek and a truly Gourmet meal at The Kitchen on Main Rock Hall is a great place to spend a special weekend.

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 4th anniversary at this delightful B&B. We stayed at the Pond Cottage and loved everything about it: the jacuzzi tub, the incredibly comfortable king-sized bed, and the back porch seats overlooking the pond (to name just a few). We also liked that we were welcome to go into the main house for complimentary drinks, a granola bar, ice or just to visit Gracie, Jezebel & Java (their super friendly and cute dogs).

As for Rock Hall itself, we were very lucky to have wonderful weather everyday and were able to enjoy this picturesque water-town biking around town, kayaking in Swan Creek, and crabbing off a pier. We also loved swimming everyday at the Inn. It was good that we had so much exercise, because the rest of the time we either ate or slept! We enjoyed eating at Waterman's, Harbor Shack and Java Rock (the coffee shop owned by Jim & Joanne). We enjoyed our stay & the warm hospitality of our hosts. We look forward to visiting Huntingfield Creek, and the doggies, again someday in the future!

My husband and I came across Huntingfield Creek and said.."Let's try here, it looks nice." Little did I know what a discovery I had actually found just by looking at pictures. I expected an office with stuffy people who would say your room is here, have a nice day. Oh no! You actually walk in the front door and it's like you are home. The three dogs will greet you. Jezabell, Java, and Gracie. Java will even escort you to your room upstairs and come in and sit with you. (loved it our dog's named Coffee) Jim and Joanne make you feel at home, the breakfast fruit surprise of the day dish is to die for. We will go back.

Room Tip: Go online and look at the rooms.

Right after our wedding, we wanted to get away before we went out our actual honeymoon to the Caribbean the following Saturday. We are so glad that we did! This was the perfect location to escape it all, or go out and explore if you wanted excitement! We were welcomed by the owner and their three super friendly dogs! They took us on a tour around the gorgeous property and was telling us about the land. He showed us the pier with adorable chairs for lounging, the very cool salt water pool, the lounge room with complimentary drinks and snacks, the breakfast room and finally, our cottage! It was a brand new adorable cottage right next to the pond. It was old world with a modern touch. The room was incredible! There was a LARGE whirlpool and separate large shower. We laid in bed and watched movies all day with the 800 channel selection. Breakfast in the morning was also the best I had in a while. I would not have changed a thing! They even called and made us reservations at the Blue Crab charters (which I also highly recommend). They made this experience absolutely amazing and I can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: Stay in the cottage closest to the pond!

My partner Eric and I spent a recent May weekend here, and it was wonderful from the first moment. Jim and Joanne couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful, the accommodations were fantastic. Even the dogs were welcoming! And we loved having them around - my partner played with the dogs, while I had a glass (or two) of the complimentary wine. And the breakfast was exactly what was promised - lovely country breakfast. Joanne met my special request of flowers with a beautiful arrangement of roses that she personally arranged - just an added touch that confirmed for us that we will definitely be back! We couldn't wait to tell our friends and family how much we loved it!

Room Tip: Book summer weekends far in advance!

Just returned from a fantastic get away with my husband for his birthday. By chance we discovered Rock Hall, Maryland while searching online....and we were very pleasantly surprised at our accomodations. Jim, one of the innkeepers, was very friendly and helpful. He has a welcoming personality and it's evident that he truly enjoys his work. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated, as was the rest of the inn. My favorite room was the library with it's rich woods and boundless reading material.
We will definitely be returning to the Inn at Huntingfield Creek when the sunflowers are in bloom and the pool is open!!! We may even bring our kids!

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing place my girlfriend and I found and stayed at. Beautiful grounds, a lovely, perfect cottage, great and helpful innkeepers, delicious breakfast, and we could bring our dog who played with Jim and Joanne's 3 dogs. Nice little town to visit, good restaurants nearby (try the new little nugget "The Kitchen"), and you can walk right to the water. Every inch of the main house is lovely and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again and would heartily recommend it to friends. And there is a special place in heaven reserved for innkeepers who allow dogs to visit their beautiful place!
