“Just what Calvert needed.”
Reviewed November 9, 2013

Tired of all those so called Mexican restaurants? This Asian Bistro has it all. Sushi, Sashimi, Rolls, Thai food Korean food just about everything Asian that Prince Frederick was lacking.
Not much to look at outside. Not bad inside. No liquor license yet. Attentive service. Food comes out when it is ready so plan for that when ordering for the table. Watch out Sakura - now I don't have to go home smelling of grease!

“Really Great Asian Fusion!”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

When we visited, they were still working on their liquor license, so it was BYO. It's a pretty sit-down place with a bar off to the side where you can watch the sushi-chef but I think they have take-out too if you call and order ahead. The food was terrific. The sushi was great. Service was great too. We were the only ones in there that day. Hopefully that changes. They are open late -- til 10! Yay! This location was a the Arby's near the Prince Frederick Food Lion. So happy that Nagoya is here!

“It's about time....”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

that Prince Frederick (heck, Calvert County) got some decent sushi! Since the demise of Woodburns a few years ago, we've been forced to go to Annapolis to get excellent sushi. What you could get locally was just okay and would satisfy the urge for sushi but not the taste.

Nagoya has changed that. The service is attentive, the food wonderfully presented and very fresh tasting. As my husband is part Japanese, we have been eating sushi for many years and feel that this sushi is excellent. Try the Fried Spicy Tuna Jalapeno appetizer - it is Yummy with a capital "Y"! The crab rangoons are also very good - I love the dipping sauce they serve with it - more of a ginger-chili sauce than a sweet sauce - good counterpoint to the slightly sweet filling.

We have not had an entree yet, just sushi, but looking at what has walked by our table the portion sizes are on the large size and looked very tasty.

Well worth the trip, and I see sushi in our future a bit more frequently!

“Yum!”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

This was our first visit to Nagoya Bistro and we absolutely loved it. I thought their sushi was delicious and my husband really enjoyed his curry chicken dish. Just having recently been to China we were curious to see how authentic the dishes would be. One of my favorite meals in China was steamed dumplings and our appetizer of shrimp dumplings at Nagoya was excellent. The food was fresh and the service was outstanding. We will definitely return to try some of the many other items on their menu.
