Description: Brooklyn inspired Jewish deli offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. We specialize in the traditional delicatessen meats and smoked fish. Our corned beef, pastrami, brisket, roast beef and hand carved turkey are all "home made" at the restaurant. Our legendary Chicken Noodle (with or without matzoh ball) is made fresh daily. We offer daily specials and often have "surprise" baked items when Guy is so inspired. We bake our own rye and pumpernickel. Our bagels are from the famed "Whatsa Bagel (aka Bethesda Bagels)" and are absolutely the best and most authentic in the area. We are family owned and operated restaurant located in Potomac, Maryland. Chef/owner Guy Brandt is often mingling with our guests when not in the kitchen. We are honored to have so many "regular" guests, many of whom follow us on our FaceBook page. Our "Pooch Patio" is available anytime the weather permits. We hope to serve you soon! They have excellent corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Soups also good. Have not been disappointed in numerous visits.

We went into this place late on a Thursday evening, and it was almost closing time. Nonetheless, I was able to have a corned beef sandwich, extra lean, on rye, and a bowl of matzo ball soup. The soup was delicious with large chunks of chicken, a nice broth, chunky vegetables, and a large yet light and airy matzo ball. It really was good as most of the time the matzo balls at other places are very dense and heavy. The sandwich was moist and lean with good deli mustard. Overall their menu looked like it was quite extensive, and the prices were very reasonable. If you don't know the area, it can be a little challenge to find this place. But, let the GPS guide you - it is worth it. I would have given the place 5 stars, but the dining area is just a bit too Plain Jane.

Great choices and the subs are stacked with meats and flavor. A true authentic deli, straight from the B-borough

As a Philly transplant, I have to say, living in the DC/Bmore region can be tough for Italian or Jewish delis. The bread is weak. The meats are of poor quality. It is just depressing how bad the delis are. Then I found Brooklyn's Deli and all in my little universe was good again. This place is legit. The bread is good (not quite Philly or NY), but it doesn't detract from the sandwich either. The meats are what truly set Brooklyn's apart though. I'd put their meat up against the best. The corned beef and pastrami are tender, juicy and delicious! If you know good deli food, Brooklyn's Deli will become a DC favorite!!!
