Description: "Best dinner out experience !!" My favorite place to go out for either just cocktails or dinner. It's an experience like no other. Great concept!! They always have new specials and of course the famous cheese plates... A must try... Anne-Marie M, Ocean City

Went back for our 7th night out in Linquid Assets in last 5 years. A unique dinning experience to be sure. You have to try the meat and cheese boards to start. You can pick up your own bottle of wine off of the shelf in the store, or order off of the short wine list. Either way you are sure to find something you will like. We missed Denver this time, a long time employee who we value his opinion on wines. The entres are a different than you'd find on most restaurants here in OC. LOCAL FRESH FOOD AND FISH add to their menu. Not a cheap meal but a great value with great service. You will not miss with Liquid Assets.

We have been to Liquid Assets several times. The food has always been good (especially the apps) and it's a fun atmosphere. Their specials are usually worth getting as the menu is somewhat limited and doesn't change often. They offer a good variety of "pull of the shelf" wines and liquors that you can consume at the restaurant. The place gets packed so if you want a seat, get there early. The downside is they don't take reservations so we waited over 2 hours the last time we went (on a Saturday night we arrived at 7:30). They do have couches that you can order an app at while waiting (if they aren't filled).

Okay, this is one restaurant that we will not be reviewing. Why, you may ask? No reservations and no "call ahead" seating. I can understand why they do this. By not taking reservations, they maximize their guest throughput. Since they don't make any promises about having your table waiting when you arrive, they don't have to have a table waiting for you, while a guest without a reservation waits. This way, as soon as one party finishes, the next party can be seated. The problem with this approach in a resort town is that the guest HAS to wait. Personally, I think it comes from an incompetent or lazy host/hostess. They bill themselves as a Fine Dining Restaurant, yet they treat you like Denny's. While LA comes highly recommended to us, we are unwilling to wait for a table at a restaurant where we do not know if the food is worth the wait. We already know that there is no service, or at least not what I would expect for service at a "Fine Dining" establishment. Thanks, but no thanks.

Great food, very nice atmosphere and selection of any beverage you might want. Cool bar area as well as secluded restaurant section.Been in here many times to purchase wine (great selection), but finally had dinner. Wonderful. Also heard their homemade donuts are the BEST, but I was too full.

This is a unique place - upscale restaurant in a package store. The apps were awesome - mussels in a broth with chorizo, and bruschetta. Scallops for dinner were awesome, but only 4 for $26. Top it off with a Green Flash west coast IPA. Pricey, but very good
