My husband & i took a mini vacation to OC after an absence of several years. (I remember the Alaska stand!) I also remember back then I found the food very overpriced & not all that good.
Crabcake factory has changed that perception for me.
I had a delectable crab cake platter, the crab was thick & loaded with meat. There was lemon to squeeze on it to enhance the flavor, there was a tasty remoularde sauce on the side & fresh slice of pineapple added to the plate, the entire presentation was very
lovely, this means alot because when a meal has "eye appeal" it usually means the chef "cares" about what the customer is getting & isnt just something slapped down in front of someone.
This was "fine dining" in a kind to my pocketbook setting, my husband opted for a steak sandwich that he found " memorably"
delicious, served with that same "eye appeal" that bespeaks a
thoughtful chef who prides himself on serving "good food".
Can t wait to make a repeat visit!!!
