We jumped in to Peppers to avoid the rain. Our server was very friendly and helpful but kitchen service was very, very slow. We discovered quickly that this was not a great place for kids. It is a dive bar with a fairly rowdy crowd on the weekend. The food took a very long time to come. But the pub grub food -- quesadillas, guacamole, and nachos were all good for that kind of thing. The jerk chicken burrito was an unusual blend of Jamaican and Mexican food.

I was a little disapointed that a Tavern only had two beers to offer. The beer we received was very flat and the food was just ok. I had the jerk chicken tacos while my boyfriend had the beef tacos. The jerk chicken tacos were decent with pineapple chunks inside the beef tacos were lacking flavor and very below average. The food was a little pricey for what you received however the portions were pretty large. The service was decent but when it was time for the check the server was not very attentive and it took quite a while before we received it. We ate outside but inside the bar had an odor to it and the bathrooms smelled strongly of urine. I'm hoping we hit this place on a bad day because it seems as if others really enjoy this tavern.

We visited Peppers Tavern at about 7pm on a Monday. We sat outside for the fabulous view of the ocean. The guacamole was chunky and fresh. The salsa was not as good as we expected..a little bland with no "kick" but the rest of our meals and drinks were awesome. Our waitress, Kelly, was friendly and quick, even stopping to chat with us after our meal. My husband thought it was the best burrito he had ever eaten. The rice and beans were also good. I highly recommend this joint and will be back for a visit soon.

Decided to try this place for a family meal; when they took us in for a table, we got a little worried as it looked on the shabby side and like a real party hangout; however, it turned out to be a great Mexican meal. Great guac, great enchiladas, generous portions. Friendly and courteous wait staff. Bathrooms could use better upkeep though. Really enjoyed it.

we went there yesterday for breakfast ( the west ocean city location) there would be 10 of us they said 20 mins to 1/2 wait..we were thrilled since we had such a large party and they were packed.
so we went to the bar..when 2 seats opened up we claimed them..bartender comes over to us and says are you waiting for a table or sitting at the bar. we said we were waiting for a table. she then walked away..we were a bit taken back but thought she would certainly come over and ask us what we would like to drink while waiting. ( we would never ever take seats at a bar and not order a drink)
so she came by a few times because we were next to the wait staff service counter. never addressed us again so we flagged her down and said can we order a drink. she said thought you were waiting for a table??? weird response
so we ordered our drinks and we paid our tab and were seated in a timely manner
food was great..large portions and service at the table was good..
don't know if the bartender was just off yesterday or if something happened that she doesn't think people who sit at a bar would order drinks but she could have been a bit more accommodating
wont deter our group from coming again but will make us think about her as our bartender..
