Description: real food * from scratch We believe that great food and healthful ingredients are not mutually exclusive of each other. We buy organic produce from local farmers and seafood from the commercial fishing harbor right outside our restaurant. We feature all natural products - steering clear of preservatives and antibiotics. Whole grains and whole foods are used in the preparation of our menu - which our chefs write twice daily, based on what's fresh, available and delicious. Fresh. Local. Organic. Taste the difference.

We purchased a home in Ocean Pines about 2 years ago and have gravitated towards this restaurant for all the best reasons. They are ALWAYS ACCOMODATING. The drinks are always delicious and consistent. Come here to avoid the "sea" of enhanced bar food resturaunts and find the most innovative menu selections available. No matter what their chef puts together, it always seems to work! The Shark rates high for romance as the view and ambiance are hard to beat. As good as this stop is for couples, we have brought clients here as well. Innovative food, top notch service, can't beat it !!

We live in the area and eat regularly at the Shark. We went to the restaurant last Monday night for pizza night. The restaurant features 7-8 unique personal pizzas on Mondays in addition to the regular menu. Each Monday, the selection varies. We like eating there due to the fresh selection of food. We had the crabmeat pizza (jumbo lump with sun-dried tomatoes) and a regular 4-cheese pizza.

As usual, the service was prompt and courteous. For the quality of the food served, the prices are outstanding.

We live in the area and the Shark is our favorite restaurant. They have a wonderful happy hour with a terrific lite fare menu that expires at 5:00PM. The shrimp dish on that menu is fantastic. It is served with bread so you can dip the delicious sauce. The seasoning is the best I have ever had on steamed shrimp dish.
The dinner menu changes daily to take advantage of local fish, veggies, etc. There are also several staples such as the eggplant tower. The restaurant owner, who also is or oversees all of the "cheffing" that takes place at the restaurant is a master at fusing flavors. We just love this place.

My wife and I have a second home in Ocean City and had eaten at the Shark when it was on Coastal Highway Our brother and sister in law came downto OC to visit as our anniversary's are close together. They had read some reviews on the Shark suggested we celebrate there. It was a nightmare. We were seated with no courtesy and treated in a completely neglectful manner. The young pretentious and arrogant staff was too busy floating around with their local "homeys" to serve us and then when the overcooked and mushy slop passing for food arrived at our table had the nerve to tell us we did not know fine food when we complained about the mess on the dishes. My wife and I live in NYC and have dined at LePerigord,Gramercy Tavern,Bouley and the Four Seasons. My brother law owns and operated two successful restaurants in Brooklyn New York so to be insulted by these arrogant no nothings was revolting. Save your money and avoid the Shark. Try Sunset Grille and Just Hooked which are five times better.

Shark on the harbor is an upscale seafood restaurant just minutes from the ocean city boardwalk set on the water. The food is delicious, the setting beautiful and the atmosphere welcoming. Most interesting is the menu changes daily! You are guaranteed the freshest of seafood. We dined three of us on a weekday evening. The appetizers are enough to wet your palate including the locally caught scallops, named for the ship captain that caught them as we'll as a courtesy app, chef selection that each tables receives. For entrees I enjoyed a perfectly cooked swordfish served with couscous and eggplant in their own sauce. My friends enjoyed crabmeat stuffed eggplant and an apple blue cheese grilled onion topped filet. Everything was amazing and our server catered to our every question with a smile. We will definitely return to the shark and I urge everyone else to as well!
