Rides were exciting and plenty to go on for our 5 year old. No real lines to speak of on a Thursday night. The circus was VERY entertaining. Wear sneakers so they can go on the obstacle course/zipliine.

We had a great time go cart racing. 2 hour wrist band gives unlimited rides. However, be sure to use the Jolly Roger coupon in the local magazines to double the 2 hours into 4 hours. Many race courses to choose. The 4 hours flew by before we knew it. Great fun.

Went to the Splash Mountain water park this past Wednesday. I would describe myself as an amusement park/water park enthusiast. Here are my takeaways.

1) Try the afternoon pass. Instead of spending $34.99 for the full day 10-6pm, consider spending $21.99 for 3-6 pm. This is not advertised on the website, but it seemed a more reasonable deal. They even accepted the $2 coupons that are all over Ocean City. This will give you time to hit the beach in the morning and avoid trying to park overpriced amusement park food. The park was still crowded, but the 5-6 hour allowed a lot of quick rides.

2) Attractions. There were some nice slides here. The Aqua-Loop was a great thrilling ride for those over 100 lbs! My 6 and 8 year old were disappointed. Eye of the Hurricane was fun and different. The classic body slides, lazy river, and racing mat rides were also nice.

3) Crowds. I would like to have tried a couple of the other unique rides "Stealth" and "Master Blaster" but the lines were long and slow moving, and unfortunately the park layout made it hard to assess where the line began!

4) Layout. I do not like when a ride queue and ending are on opposite ends of the park separated by bridges! This can make re-rides hard and also make finding the rides a challenge.

5) Staff/Patrons. Normally I have a no trouble with staff or fellow riders. There were quite a few ride operators with the look that they wished they could be anywhere else in the world. That's understandable. The worker that has no idea where the lockers are, and is rude about it.... that's tougher to swallow. The ride operated that got a kick about scaring my 70 year old father and then proceeded to slow the line down after his supervisor yelled at him.... not so good.

There you have some solid takeaways. Hope that is helpful.

The rides are expensive and geared towards smaller children. Understand that if you come here with children, you may need to pay double for every ride. The prices are way too high for what the rides are, and considering so many will require an adult.

The miniature golf place was cool, but in need of repair 15 years ago when I went as a kid, and it's very clear that nothing was done to spruce the place up in the mean time. The golf course is run down, falling apart, and needs a lot of clean up even if they don't want to fix what's broken.

Only upside: Free Parking
