“A must-visit gem during an OCMD visit”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

This museum is very well-done and the caretakers are very inviting and obviously very passionate about preserving OCMD history. We had a two-for-one admittance coupon, so my husband and in-laws decided to check it out after walking right by it over the years. You can spend a short amount of time in here, but could also easily spend many hours. There are displays about the geology of the area, history of lifesaving and also more light-hearted attraction history exhibits, so definitely something for everyone. The hours for the museum are also great; not too constricting so you can go in the evening and not miss time in the sun on the beach.

“Great Memorabilia”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

Stopped in as I am a member of the OCLSM to see this year's exhibits. Love the video of the storm that shows how the inlet was made in Ocean City. This is a great place that is sometimes over looked by tourists but not by locals. Love the great memorabilia and the people are kind when you enter. Small fee lots of great history!!

“Interesting museum”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

A different thing to do in OC - a small museum, but unique, quirky, and interesting. I loved the sand from around the world and the old bathing suits - good for all ages and anyone - families, couples, individuals
