Maybe the worst dining experience of my life. First of all, BYOS since the silverware is filthy. The bread was so stale and crunchy that they could advertise it as "double baked." Our butter came in a water glass. Calling their red sauce Chefboyardee is an insult to Chefboyardee. The decor is gross, replete with stained glass plastic ceiling tiles. Service was poor. Don't be fooled by claims of "new management." It's a bad as ever, IMO.

Don't make other plans for the evening if you want to eat here. We were told a 30-40 minute wait which ended up being over an hour. When we finally were seated, after another 10 minutes a waiter came over and took our drink order. Ten minutes later and no drinks he came over and said he had to give us to another server because he was too busy. The other server came over right away and asked for our drink order. Imagine the frustration of having to repeat that again. We asked for bread twice and was told it was in the oven. No pizza was available. Our request for seconds on bread was never honored. The pasta was tasty but not worth the horrible service. I felt like an intruder and not terribly welcome. After almost three hours in this place we're looking to wind down at the Boardwalk.

What Italian restaurant has a broken pizza oven for over a month? We visited on August 8, 2012 and from the other reviews, it was broken since at least July 3rd. It did not make me feel warm and fuzzy that it was one of the cheapest items on menu. Actually, it was probably the cheapest pizza on island at $9.99. Spaghetti was definitely out of box. There were several cores in my wife's salad. One positive note, they did check my Chicken Marsala to see if it was cooked (cut in the middle of one of the breasts). A decent chef has four to five meat thermometers on them at all times! We had gone to this restaurant last year and it was way better! Our waiter was very nice and was trying very hard as most of the wait staff seemed to be doing.

We went July 26 2012. Pizza oven was broken silverware was dirty no drink menu and we told the waiter we'd like a minute and he was gone for 5 minutes we had to ask another waiter to get our waiter. Thou there was no wait for a table and they accommodated our party of 7. The food was portioned nicely and the house dressing was delisious. It reminds me of Olive Garden with someone's personal touch.

We went here on July 3, because we had gone in the past and it was good. It is now under new management, but it doesn't seem like better management to me. We were able to be seated right away, but things went downhill from there. The pizza oven was broken, so there was no pizza available. They were out of 2 of the wines. My wife ordered a shirley temple, but they were out of grenadine. They also didn't have a drink menu, as they were being created. The service was very slow. Some of us had gotten a side salad with our meals, but one person ordered the garden salad as their meal. It cost $10 and was the exact same size as the side salad we had gotten. The only difference was it had a couple of olives on it, and a banana pepper. It also came with the other salads, even though she ordered it for her main meal. I think the waiter should have pointed out the size of the salad, when she ordered it as her meal. Also, of the forks on the table, more than half had dirt on them, and one of our water glasses had a dirt spot on the rim. The portions did not seem large for the price paid. The actual food was OK, but nothing special. We will not be returning here next year.
