Will do in a pinch. I had an overdone steak, the pulled pork was average and my sons kid meal was cold. Service was average

“Tasty Food, Great Service, Nice AYCE Deal !!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2012

We saw the ad for the $15.00 AYCE deal and decided to try it. The steamed shrimp were a nice size and the ribs meaty. We didn't add any sides (additional $) Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Bartender Patrick did a great job holding down the bar and dining area. We really enjoyed the food and banter among the mix of locals and tourists. It was an enjoyable experience. They also have a roasted oyster and bull AYCE deal on a thursday.

“Not a second time.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2011

Baseed on reviews we went to eat here, 5 of us. Service was very friendly, prices were reasonable, $90 for 5 of us including tip. one person ordered Chicken and dumplings. If you're looking for traditional like at Cracker Barrel forget it. The dumplings were clear flat, shredded chicken with a very thin brown sauce that tasted like watered down bbq sauce. All of us tasted it, we all agreed, it was terrible. Three of us had smoked meatloaf, rated fair to passable, One had catfish rated excellent . We all agreed never again.

“Good local joint”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2011

Service was friendly. Restaurant seemed like they hadn't quite finished a remodel, but the food was good, and we had large portions for the price. The place had more of a local vibe, though of course we weren't the only tourists enjoying our BBQ. A good dinner overall.

“Delicious BBQ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2010

We stayed at the Dunes Motel Labor Day week Sept 2010 just a block away. My husband got carolina pulled pork sandwiches here for lunch 3 days in a row. The pork was always fresh, tender, and very tasty. When the manager found out I was having tuna wraps from the hotel,he sent a sample of tuna home with my husband for me to try. It was really tasty as well.
