Our work team went here in early September based on recommendations. The service was very good, the atmosphere for a group was fun, the ambience just ok. The seafood buffet was worth the price. The crab legs, shrimp, cheese and seafood Newburgh were worth the price. The prime rib was very good as well. Didn't try the ribs or fried chicken but they looked good. The dessert table had a variety of cakes and ice creams.

I would eat here again.

Thank you for your comments, and I appreciate all that you said. We feel that we offer an excellent product and provide similar service. Our Prime Rib is Certified Angus Beef, slow cooked over night. Our seafood is fresh and our Pasta Station is a new addition this season with a variety of ingredients and sauces to a dish that is cooked to order. We are an oceanfront dining room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the palm trees, beach and ocean. To be honest, I have never heard anyone say the ambience was just OK. Our restaurant turns into the Ocean Club Nightclub at 9:30pm with top-forty dance bands playing at no additional cost. We try to wow, but in this case is was just a oh-hum. Sorry, but don't give up on us. We will still try to wow!

We came as a group for the buffet and when one of our group got the prime rib there was hair wrapped around the meat. We told the waitress n she didn't do anything. We spoke to the manager and she would not so anything. At 35.00 a meal they could not give us a discount. She never even seemed like she cared we have been here before n this has never happened. This is totally disturbing and a I insult to people and your customers

Thank you for bring this to my attention. I can't say this is a regular occurrence, but it is something that can happen. You are right, this should not have happened and you should have been given the courtesy of a valued guest, whether this was your first or tenth time dining with us. We went to the breakfast buffet our first morning as we had arrived late the night before and had not had time to shop (staying in the condos at Marigot). We had a large party (13) so when the bill came we were not surprised to see an automatic gratuity added. However. The gratuity was 20%!! For a buffet! This was excessive. The server literally brought thermoses of coffee and some water and that was it. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard, not overly great but not bad either. That evening we dined at a crab house and the servers worked their butts off taking orders, refilling drinks, etc., and only added 18% as an automatic gratuity. I've never been charged 20% for a buffet, and in fact rarely charged 20% as any sort of automatic gratuity.

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate what you have to say and I assure you this is something we will take into consideration. We do feel that 20% gratuity is the standard norm in today's restaurants. While you and your guests may not have needed the amount of service that another party of six or more may require, we do know that there are guests who do not tip at all, or who are below 10%. I understand your concern, and this is an issue that will be discussed. I appreciate what you said and think it may have merit.

The windows that supposedly look out over the ocean are absolutely filthy, you cant even seen out them. The food was ok, they used way too much old bay seasoning on the shrimp, I couldnt get the smell off of my hands. The crab and prime rib were very good but thought that $250 was way too much for 4 adults and 2 children under 9. Watch out if you are a party of 6 they tack on gratituity and it was in the middle of the bill, almost missed it.

Thank you for your comments. Oceanfront dining, while the view can be breathtaking, windows covered with salt from the ocean air and mist can be distracting. Our windows are cleaned on a regular basis, both inside and out. We also agree that there are buffets less expensive in Ocean City. We serve Certified Angus Beef both on the buffet and from the menu. The Prime Rib is slowed cooked over night. Our seafood dishes are fresh, our Crab Legs are Alaskan. We have added a pasta station this year where the dishes are all prepared to order, giving our guests a selection of sauces, as well as shrimp, scallops and chicken to be sautéed as you choose. You will not get this service or quality from any other buffet in town.. Please introduce yourself to one of our managers the next time you dine with us. We love to meet our guests.

The restaurant was the perfect place to relax with a good meal and the staff top notch. The view of the ocean from the dinning area is very nice.
