We love to stop in for a glass of wine and dinner or appetizers at the bar by the open kitchen. Staff is always attentive and the food never disappoints. We also enjoy ordering this gourmet comfort food for takeout. The maranara sauce is the best we have ever had, even our own. When available, food is often cooked with local fresh items. Any of the pasta dishes will please and we always have leftovers which, as with good Italian food, are even better the next day. We love this place!

This is my fourth time at Luca Sophia and each time is better than the last. The quaint restaurant reminds me of some locations I visited in Italy. The menu selection has something for everyone and the food is superb! A great wine selection along with a very personable bartender. The owner and servers are very attentive, friendly and very accommodating. The brussel sprouts are delicious. Those who don't like brussel sprouts are enjoying them by the end of the night. I think this is North East's hidden secret place to dine!

We really loved this place, the food is interesting and not just spaghetti and lasagna. Very creative Italian menu, like what you would see in little Italy in Baltimore. I lived in Baltimore for many years and I love to eat out, so that is saying a lot. The wine list is great. They have a few vegetarian options, which was great as we are trying to eat less meat. Everything was excellent. Don't expect a super fancy interior, you are in North East, but I like that better anyway more comfortable for everyone. When we were there they didn't have a high chair, but they had just opened. It is in a weird spot right downtown and easily missed. Little pricey, but normal for this type of food. Go if you want a great dinner!

My friends love this place for the interesting menu, attentive, friendly service, great food and attractive specials. The Friday evening brussels sprouts special may not sound like your cup of tea, but they have, as our waitress pointed out, turned many diners into (brussels sprouts) "believers". One order is probably enough for two or three to share. They are nicely fried and seasoned with capers.
