My husband and I stayed at the Lake Pointe Inn October 2 - 5, 2012. We were celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary. The Inn is so beautiful, staff incredible, and we felt like royalty during our stay. Our room was the Friend room. It had beautiful furnishings, a glass fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and a two person shower ( I loved the bathroom door and shower tiles). In the morning guests have an "over-the-top" breakfast, wine is served at 4:00pm, followed by an appetizer. You have to try the home-made marshmallows and cookies. They are the best. The Inn has so many thoughtful touches such as newspapers, reading glasses, a cabinet with emergency items in case guests forget something, candies / pretzels in the living room, and nightly chocolates left out for guests as they retire to their rooms. Each floor has an area with self-serve coffee and a fridge stocked with beer, wine, and sodas. The nightly pontoon boat ride is wonderful. We went two nights in a row and we were taken to completely different parts of the lake. My husband and I loved every minute of our stay and we will definitley return. The only thing that the Inn could improve on is how breakfast is served. Guests are given one entree choice in the morning and if you do not like what is being served, you do not have a second option. It would be nice if they told guests the night before what was being served for breakfast or offer guests a choice between two breakfast options.

Room Tip: Get a room with the lake view. It is definitely worth it.

The Service at the Inn was impeccable. They've thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, down to the littlest of details. The Rooms are cozy. The home made breakfast are out of the world.

It's nestled in a little development and from the street it doesn't look like much. But the trees make you feel isolated while sitting on Deep Creek.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the Deep Creek Area, but I would surely go back just for the Lake Pointe Inn. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Stayed in the Browning Room. It was fantastic. Overlooked the lake and was really cozy. But I don...

We came here to celebrate our 10th anniversary and it was well worth it! The staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing, the views of the lake were beautiful. We loved the nightly boat ride and the smores by the firepit were delicious. Many special touches throughout to make guests feel appreciated. We may make this an annual tradition!

We found this gem about 4 years ago and it is one of our favorite places to go when the need to "get-away." We love the staff (Ed, Tom, Kris, Marilyn) and the breakfast's are a great way to start the day. We love sitting by the fire place and drinking wine. It is so relaxing and the peaceful location is just what we needed.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are nice and comfortable...we've stayed on both the 2nd and 3rd floors, but we...

This inn is warm and inviting. It seems that all possible guest needs have been anticipated in advance. Ed, the innkeeper, was exceptionally helpful and accommodating as well as the rest of the staff. We will be back!

My husband and I came to Lake Pointe Inn for a "mini-moon" after our wedding. We were greeted by a bottle of champagne and an adorable set of bride/groom rubber ducks. The food each morning was fantastic--lemon poppy seed waffles, bacon, omlettes...We stayed in the Sang Run Room which was perfect. We loved the steam shower and huge spa bathtub. We also took advantage of the kayaks and evening boat tour. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. All of the little "extras" really put it over the top--stocked fridges on each floor, appetizers and wine at night, chocolate chip cookies and homemade marshmallows...they have really thought of everything!

We have been to many B&B's and this is one of the best. From the great lakeside location, nice rooms, fresh baked cookies, stocked refrigerators, nightly boat rides, fire pit, croquet lawn and canoes they really have thought of it all. My only complaint is like many B&B's they stick with the high carb options for breakfast. I much prefer a balanced breakfast with an egg offering of some type. Otherwise, it is a lovely place to stay.

Room Tip: Some have fireplaces and some lake views.
