As soon as we entered our room, I was concerned that the bed would be a problem. In hindsight, I wish we had asked for a different room because the bed turned out to be very uncomfortable for two. The rest of the room was okay, but a bit tired... a comfortable sofa, decent lighting, a refrigerator, microwave oven and kitchen sink. The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping, boat rentals and the lake.

I am sorry to hear you didn't find your bed to be satisfactory. We would have been more than happy to have you look at something different and see if perhaps it may have worked a little better for you.

We are in the process of looking at some new linens and comforters to brighten those rooms as well as updating some other items. Hopefully we will have that completed soon. I hope you will come join us again and see the difference!

Stayed with my husband and 2 small children. One night stay while we were in town. Hotel is dated, but priced fair. Rooms were clean, very big indoor pool, friendly staff. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Not many choices for a one night stay in a lake/ ski resort area with many home rentals. The stay was just fine.

The hotel was outdated, but nice all the same. We were there during the off season, so the price did seem high for the quality of the hotel. I would have been fine with the rate, had it been during ski season. Did go to the spa and the masseuse was fantastic!

Was there for a wedding and stayed little bit more north of Oakland. This was a great place to stay, clean. Right next to the ski area. Good hiking and close to a lot of different activities. Rooms were nice and clean.

We arrived on Wednesday early afternoon to lots of snow on the ground and coming down. We checked in and were pleasantly surprised to find our room very spacious for the 4 of us. The boys had their own area and tv, and my wife and I had a separate room within the room. Everything was clean. As others have said, it isn't the most modern place, but it was very clean, comfortable, and we had no problems. The ski lodge was connected to the hotel, along with the restaurants, indoor pool, and other amenities. The first day we snow tubed, which was great. We got up the next day for our refresher ski lessons and the boys decided to snow tube so they did that. The instructors were great and before long we were on the slopes. We spent four days at the resort. We snow tubed, skied, and snow mobiled. All of the workers were very nice. We previously stayed at a Westgate property in Park City the last time we went skiing at the Canyons, and the rooms were smaller there and the lodge and resort didn't have as many activities as Wisp. We would definitely return to Wisp.

We had to modify our ski trip due to a snowstorm and the people at the hotel changed our reservations without a problem. We were able to check in a few hours earlier than the 5 pm check-in. The size of the room and the two beds were ideal for our family of three. The food court was very convenient and ski rentals, etc. were all located in one area. The swimming pool was a good size and warm enough to stay in for at least an hour.

What I would change: Someone else had used our room number to rent ski storage and the woman at the desk asked for the keys to the storage...which of course I knew nothing about.
We were charged for ski helmets for my son's ski school when he did not use them during the lesson. We have pictures of him without the helmet on.

We arrived at around 9 pm, got to our room, half the lights did not work, the phones did not work and when we contact reception they simply said you have mobiles don't you.

We said there was going to be 5 of us, yet the room was set up for 4, so every day of our stay we had to ask for extra towels and stuff.

We asked about the activities for the next day and the reception could only say you have to ring this number, we asked about times they said they did not know.

The skiing was great and the ski people were great the hotel was very tired and the staff there seemed very unwilling to help or knew what was actually happening at their own resort.

Ski team a 5 out of 5, the hotel barely a 1

Room Tip: If you are travelling with a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, get adjourning rooms they are jsut way t...
