The log interior and many fireplaces make the dining experience feel like a secluded mountain retreat. The views of Deep Creek Lake, especially at sunset, are exceptional. Pine Lodge Steakhouse serves only the finest fresh handcut beef, as well as, Pacific Rim Ahi Tuna, cold-water lobster, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, crab cakes and more. A specialty of the house is their famous Creamy Crab Soup - it's a favorite among the locals! Our house chefs oversee preparation to ensure it meets our high quality standards.

The dinner was perfect from start to finish! The service was timely and pleasant. The cream of crab soup was tasty with plenty of crab meat in it. The prime rib was delicious! The dessert was perfectly done and was the perfect way to end a wonderful dinner. The decor is beautiful. The only thing that could have made the dinner better would have been to be there when the beautiful stone fireplace is burning!!

Pine Lodge is expensive. Drinks are outrageously expensive. Even in DC a martini is not $14. We were charged for a dirty martini - not ordered, but the drink delivered, that should have been a vodka martini with bar vodka was awful. It was our waitresses first night, so we let it slide. However, in seeing the bill and the charge it was shocking. The food was ok, nothing exceptional. Only one side with a steak. It could and should be a great place, with better pricing.

We are from Cheshire, England so are used to good food. The food here is absolutely delicious and plentiful, drinks excellent and service great, a special mention to Mikalah who made us feel so welcome

Tried this place for dinner. Staff was very friendly and the service was excellent, they constantly were checking on us. Hostesses were friendly and helpful in explaining the layout of the restaurant and seating. TV and bar downstairs, traditional restaurant upstairs, same menu in both places. I got a steak and sweet potato, they were good. They accommodate allergies as best they can but no guarantees. Wife got French onion soup, got salty need the bottom of the bowl And couldn’t finish it, salad was good. Other couple got southwest chicken salad and ribs - they enjoyed them.

We dine out frequently back home and all over, so we know a good meal. This one blew us away! The appetizers, especially the Sriracha shrimp melted in my mouth, and my steak was just absolutely delicious. The service was great too. We were a table of fourteen. When we arrived, they had us sitting at two separate tables. We asked if we could sit together and they found space to accommodate our big group super quickly. Our waitress was cool and knowledgeable. It was an awesome meal and great family dinner night. Thanks!
