This is a very busy place with a nice variety of sandwiches that were all very good. We arrived during the lunch rush and we did have to wait awhile to get our food so take note. For those who like trying different beers, they have a wide array of craft beers both foreign and domestic. It was a nice respite from all the chain fast food places doting Three Notch Road.

Beautifully arranged, plentiful and tasty. A home run for those on the go! Everything that was needed was right at our fingertips and our order was reviewed before leaving. Thank you!

The place has great atmosphere and deals. Make sure you show up before the dinner/lunch rush, as there's not a ton of seating or parking. Crab cake sandwich is the best deal in my book, and the beer selection is pretty comprehensive.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere a "ten". Only problem is it is too hard to get a seat. Rob definitely needs to expand. We used to frequent the blue wind for lunch but have since been forced to choose other alternatives since parking and seating is mad. Great food. I would suggest going after the lunch rush

We spent the night in the area due to a travel swim meet for our sons swim club. We wanted to try a local restaurant rather than going to a chain that we could visit at home anytime. We found Blue Wind Gourmet due to other positive reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a shot. What we found was a great little local bistro / wine bar with a great little menu. Although they had some interesting specials on their chalk board as you enter we opted to stick to their regular menu. You order at a counter and find a spot to sit at high top tables or counters with stools and then they bring your food out to you. The walls in the dining room are lined with shelves of wine and whiskey and coolers are filled with a huge sampling of various beers (lots of micro brews to experiment with).

My husband ordered the catfish with avocado on ciabatta and I had the roast beef with mozzarella and caramelized onions on focaccia. Both sandwiches came with either chips or salad and we both opted for the salads. Portions on both the sandwiches and the salad were plentiful. The sandwiches were served warm and the bread was OH SO FRESH.

It was a great experience and although we have no plans to be in the area again anytime soon we know people with kids who attend the local college there and we will definitely recommend Blue Wind Gourmet to everyone we know who goes down there on college visits. It's a shame it's 110 miles from home or else I'm sure we'd be regulars there.
