I was a bit skeptical and had mixed feeling about booking here. However, the stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and smelled good. I looked very thoroughly through the room when I got there and was honestly ready to clean if anything because my boyfriend was coming to spend the weekend. We skipped breakfast because of the reviews but other than that, sheets were good got new one when we wanted them. Had a fridge to keep all our food. For what I paid I think I got a good deal and we had a great time.

Stayed one night at the Econo Lodge in LaVale, MD and for $65 for the night, it was fine. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. It's not a fancy hotel by a long shot, but for a clean comfortable place to sleep for a night this is a great place. Breakfast in the morning includes coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, toast, packaged glazed pastry, fruit loops or cheerios. For those that like to work out while on the road, there is a gym.

We got in late, close to 11 pm after stopping at several others over 40 miles that were all booked...no internet service to check out reviews like I usually do. Would have been to sleep in our car! The bathroom smelled like pee so bad, the floor was filthy and walls were dirty and missing paint! There was a big empty spot where I'm assuming another bed was at one point. Our bed didn't even have a dust ruffle, you could see the metal bed frame! The bedspread was so thin and dirty..yuck..ever been washed? Probably not! We were hoping breakfast would be a little ray of sunshine, lol....not

While the price was right ($89 for 2 nights), the beds need to be replaced and the air conditioning didn't! It needed some serious freon - or whatever is envirionmentally friendly these days.
the front desk staff is great!!!

Stayed over the weekend. It was a great deal for the money. Friendly staff. Across Applebees and Walmart on the back. Dinner and drinks at Applebees was convenient across the hotel. No need to drive. CiCis Pizza is near by too.off exit 40. convenient.

I could not believe my eyes when we stayed here. At least two no nos. One, the fridge had not been checked or cleaned by the maids. There were two cups of water, a half frozen plastic bottle, and someone's left over dinner from a Mexican Restaurant. I looked under the ice bucket and there were two bags. One was soaked. Also, on day two, checked our room after the maid had supposedly cleaned it. Well, the hole in the sheet from the previous day was still in the same location. The bed was made, but the sheets were not changed. Also, the shower had the same soap from the day before, and one of the toilet paper rolls was still empty. No cups were replaced from the day before.

The entire floor felt wet the entire time we were there. Had to put our shoes back on to keep our feet dry. Seemed the carpet in the hallways was creased in several places, and as you walked you kind of felt like you were leaning to one side. Oh, and the bed frame. Not sure it fit. If you leaned on the edge of the mattress, the bed wobbled. The hotel did have WIFI, but I think the server was located too far from the room to stay on continually.

Then there was something they called the continental breakfast. A few apples, packaged cinnamon buns (probably from one of those left over thrift store bakeries) a loaf of bread and packs of jelly and butter. Two cereals and just enough "warm" milk to pour on a bowl. The coffee tasted like the kind they served us in boot camp, but only colder. There was no one overseeing the breakfast at all. Very poor management oversight as well.

Do yourself a favor, run from this place. There are several quality hotels in the area to choose from, offering the same services, but clean, well run and have a real breakfast with protein items to boot.

Room Tip: Don't. Choose another hotel instead.

while doing a memorial day concert we stayed at this hotel we had 3 rooms .the room I stayed in their was dirt and dead bugs under my bed and even though they advertise wifi its hard to get and if you ask them they say you have to surf and hope you get a signal which rarely happens . its a over rated hotel there are others in the area.

Room Tip: they have a terrible breakfast of honey buns and cinnamon rolls ,horrible coffee 2 kinds of cereal .
