I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and during the last day, house cleanin gwould come but it's very tough to communicate with them in English and we had to communicate atleast five minutes trying some sign language and some key words. we only needed towels at that point in time and it became very tough to communicate this part with house cleaners. I'm guesing they got them for cheap. We aasked them to come back about 30 mins or so somehow, she seem to understaand that and she never came back.
Later that day when we returned the room stunk pretty badly and no cleaning was done. Further I try to discuss with desk clerk and general manager Larry something and the guy was rude and didnt' want to apologize for that miscommunication. He tried to threated me and try to act smart explaining about hotel business.

Young man at counter allowed me to check in an hour early.
When reserving your room and u need a fridge/microwave..ask for 2 queen beds..you will get the interior rooms which are newer/nicer.
The maid did an awesome job cleaning my room..left a tip it was that nice..although I always wipe down the room/bathroom myself before I use anything..
Staff pleasant..breakfast smelled good..overslept so it was missed...6a -9a serving times..
Would stay here again..

It appears they've done quite a bit of renovating. The hotel was very nice for a basic, inexpensive place to stay. New carpet, tile, sink/vanity and fixtures plus new paint and shower. The staff was quiet, but courteous. Decent continental breakfast (fresh made waffles, pastries, cereal, fruit, etc.), free wireless internet in room with a strong signal that never dropped while I was there, decent channel selection on TV. I didn't use the workout room but it looked like pretty new equipment with flat panel TVs mounted on the walls. Coin op laundry on site.

I really don't have anything to complain about. I don't know what it looked like before, but I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for our stay! It was inexpensive, clean and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and eager to please.....and HONEST! Upon checking out I realized I had left my watch and diamond earrings in the bathroom. Housekeeping was entering our room as we were checking out. I called and the housekeeper had already turned in my items to the desk. I was very thankful!

Continental breakfast was great every morning. Waffle maker, toast, cereal, coffee/juice, pastries, and fruit. At least 6 tables, and the area was always clean.

Room was in the main building, first floor by the lobby. Always quiet! The beds were a bit soft for us, but comfortable. Everything in the room worked great (air, shower, microwave, fridge, TV).

There was a small up to date fitness room, no one was ever in there but it looked nice. There is no pool. Ice machine outside room always worked.

Check out was a breeze. Visit their website for accurate and up to date photos and amenities.

It was convenient to use the Metro to visit DC from this hotel, just a short drive.
