“Loved Loved Loved This Place!!!”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

My husband and I have gone to other wineries but this is my absolute favorite. The tour and tasting is only $5 per person and includes a Boordy wine glass. The people who work here are so friendly and so informative. There is a lady at the tasting bar that knows literally EVERYTHING about the Vineyard and their wine. We loved having her. The tasting bar was fun and the location is gorgeous! If you are near Baltimore, it's a must stop!

“Second Visit”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

We love visiting wineries and have been to 100 of them around the country - most of our visits have been in Pennsylvania. However, Boordy is our favorite Maryland winery. The farm setting is comforting and the multiple outdoor tasting bars keep the crowd dispersed allowing you to have personal attention from your server. The $5 tasting fee allowed you 6 choices (and you keep the glass). We love dry wines and tasted most of their Landmark Series, loving them all. We planned a lunch break here and took our food to the nearby picnic tables to relax. Make sure you use the rest rooms in the lower level of the barn. To get to them, you slide open the big, white door and walk past the barrel area!

“very mellow”

A nice romantic place for an outdoor festival. Their indoor events get a little claustrophic, though.

“Nice setting, overpriced wine”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

The setting is very nice in Long Green Valley, Maryland. Plenty of room to sit outside either on one of their picnic tables or bring your own chairs / blankets for their lawn. They offer free tours of their facilities and have a public event at least weekly during the season. You can purchase wine by the glass or bottle on site. However, remember this is Maryland and NOT California or Argentina or France, so the wine is ok, but i think overpriced. At $15 - $20 a bottle, it is nice to enjoy while at Boordy, but when i'm in a liquor store, i think i can find a better alternative.

“Beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

THe vineyard is in a beautiful area surrounded by rolling green hills. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have attended some of their out door music events also that are well put together and seem to run smoothly.
