This hotel has a great staff. Everyone we encountered ,including the cleaning staff, was courteous, would address any question, and was always smiling. I would like to pay particular note to the general manager, Ely, and to Joe. Ely goes above and beyond what one would usually expect from a general manager. He is out front so often we wondered when he had time to do his paperwork. He bends over backwards to ensure that the guest is happy even if it means heating up their hot dog bun and has poise and maturity way beyond his years. Joe, on the days he is at the hotel, is the go to guy. He is always happy and smiling, has a terrific sense of humor, and also goes out of his way to ensure the comfort of the guest and will do anything for the guest within his realm. The people who man the front desk are just as helpful and courteous. As the other guest have commented, this hotel is immaculate. I looked for dust bunnies in the corners like you see at most hotels but the cleaning staff is thorough because there were none. The public and outside areas of the hotel are kept just as clean and the firepit was an added plus. They have a wide array of breakfast choices. This hotel has high capacity and it is easy to see why. I highly recommend.

This is a new hotel (opened in December 2009) and it looks like there's been almost no wear. Like most new hotels, it has a modern, crisp design, which I found to be attractive. The room was the most spacious of recent Residence Inns ( those were not acceptable for 3) and this time one could get to the bathroom at night with little difficulty when the sofa bed was out. It had a big 50” LCD TV. The fit and finish of construction was very good. Everything was immaculate, including the bathroom ( as well as the common areas of the hotel ). The beds and bedding were comfy. Breakfast was very good. The eggs were fresh and cooked well. They had waffles. One day they had good french toast. This is unusual as most of the time it is neither fresh nor tasty. Theirs were both. The same could be said for the excellent fruit salad. Unlike some hotels, they kept stocking whatever was missing on a continuous basis, particularly if you pointed out that an item was out. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location is very good, being close to the excellent Hunt Valley Towne Center shopping center. We really appreciated the Wegman's supermarket, our favorite. They also have a movie theater there, which we may avail ourselves of the next time we visit. The price, at $127, was reasonable. In short, there is nothing negative to report ( that's unusual for me ) and much to like here. It's almost a sure thing that if we come back to the area, this will be where we will stay.

Outstanding stay at Residence Inn, Hunt Valley. We were moving to Maryland and used this hotel as a base while house was being readied and during moving. Great 1 and 2 BR suites, very clean, new and well appointed with flat screen TV's in every room Great free breakfasts, free laundry room, outstanding staff and manger on site all the time. Convenient to restaurants and Hunt Valley Mall. Light rail station within walking distance to take train to city and the Orioles game. Everyone on the staff couldn't have been nicer. Great exercise room, and fast, free wireless internet. We thought about just moving in here permanently and forgetting about the new house! An outstanding value, we will recommend to all friends and relatives who come to visit.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting friends in Baltimore. This is a great place to stay...very clean and spacious. It's about a 15 minute drive to suburban Baltimore and probably a half hour in to town. There is a light rail right outside to take you to the airport or downtown. A nice and cheaper alternative to staying downtown!

The pool is beautiful and the whirlpool as well. Breakfast is included and it's OK.

There is a huge mall nearby.

We would most certainly stay here again!

The rooms at the Residence Inn are very spacious. One bedrooms provide more than enough space for a 4-person family. The rooms have nice touches, like lots of closet and drawer space, along with an eating area and a work desk. The pool area has a patio and large grill -- a great way to relax at the end of the day of you are traveling with a large group. All in all a teriffic experience. We would definitely return.
