The hotel is beautiful. It was right off the exit and easy to find. The room was clean and comfortable. The food at the Grillfire was awsome. We arrived very late and the kitchen was closing. We were seated and allowed to choose any item on the menu. The wait staff made us feel welcome and did not appear put off by our late arrival. We took the shuttle to the outlet mall and could have taken it to the Casino as well. Everything was wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is beautifully decorated. Our family reunion was held here. The hotel room was exquisite and very clean. Shuttle service was great and so was the fitness center. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who want to stay at a luxurious hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous!

This was a very nice hotel in a convenience location. It is adjacent to a nice Indian restaurant and the in-house Italian restaurant is quite nice as well. The staff is competent and helpful if not all that warm. The room is very well laid out and nicely furnished. It is not particularly spacious, but it is so well furnished and makes such good use of space, you won't mind. The noise level was nice and low and the bed was very comfortable. There is a mini-fridge and microwave in the room, so it is convenient. My one significant complaint is that we chose this hotel over several others in the area because they advertise themselves as having an outdoor pool in the summer. (Important because others in the area do not and because their indoor pool closes for several hours in the middle of the day.) This is not a fair representation on their part. They share an outdoor pool with the apartment complex across the parking lot. To use that pool, a guest has to walk outside the hotel, across the parking lot, into a private apartment building and ask to use the pool that is marked "for residents only." This is an uncomfortable process and not what one expects when booking a room and planning to relax in the sun by poolside. Overall, it is a very nice hotel, but this was a big disappointment since the pool is why we chose this hotel in the first place.

I experienced a 4 day stay at The Hotel last week. The 7th floor snack/Executive Lounge-had cold sodas (4 kinds and at least 6 each) + bottled water and it had the useful microwave, ice machine and served as a waiting area for my 2 guests rather than directly in my room. It is smallish, but useful, with a printer and other drinks. Improvement: apples, oranges and other whole fruit would be nice. Pastries should be sealed in individual wraps. The tea and beverage service was excellent from the Starbucks in the Lobby to the service for guests in 7th floor lounge. The clean hotel room (Queen Double) was good size and had plenty of counter space and hot water, during the smooth check-in you should ask about whether it has a tub or shower. The room HVAC worked great and was home like in it's silent running. The room surfaces, bedding, beds and power outlets were very good. The WiFi and tethered Internet were truly fast, with 15 Mbps on WiFi and 90 Mbps on the Ethernet tether, that is easily the best out of the Starwoods, Marriott, and Hilton brands I stayed in the past 3 years (28+ total nights). On the 2nd night, my guests lounged on the 2nd floor meeting deck in a very well furnished and maintained space-SOLID! Grillfire was excellent for am breakfast, but for the business client, a 6am or 6:30am start time would be very appreciative-If you have a day trip into DC, you need to be on the road by 7:15. The food was very good at breakfast, dinner and 4-7pm Happy Hour. The HH crowd is stirred up, so get there early or late and check out the small patio. The area is fairly quiet even with the Residences apartments sharing the block. I felt rested and was active at the 3 day conference as the hotel serves a business client needs first, not much so for families. A clean hot tub would finalize the experience, it is a large void. The military and government use the hotel as well. For the cost, this is a very good experience.

I read all the recent reviews here on Tripadvisor and I really expected for the Hotel at Arundel Preserve to be amazing. We booked our room on Priceline, and chose the 7th floor executive double queen room. Check-in was smooth. My Priceline reservation was in the system and we were given our keys and two $15 vouchers for Grillfire to use for Breakfast.
Here are our observations, and they might be different from yours.
Pool: indoors, very small, not good for younger children
Workout room: also small but nice equipment
Garage: Free parking yay! Only the first floor of the garage connects to the hotel. All the electric car charging stations are on the first floor and all the spaces were taken by NON electric cars that wanted to be parked closer to the hotel. So annoying!!!! The higher levels of the garage required you to take an elevator to the first floor then go into the hotel and use that elevator as well.
Hotel elevators: Moved very slowly and since there were only 2 of them, required lots of waiting on them
Free Wifi: The free wifi worked very well. We connected our devices very easily.
Grillfire for breakfast: Empty restaurant at 8am. Pancakes and french toast were very good. Dinner menu looks incredible
Location: This hotel is perfectly located. Right off the highway. Near tons of restaurants, shopping, even costco, walmart and the huge Arundel Mills Mall and Maryland Live Casino.
Our room: Our room was very nice but it had many problems. The outlets in a few places did not work. Something we needed to charge overnight lost power instead and then woke us up at 5am. NOT GOOD! The beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows. The bathroom door made the worst noise and woke up the rest of the sleeping people in our room at 5:01 AM. The room was very modern and the robes and slippers were a nice touch. The keurig coffee machine was really nice and needed based on waking up at 5am.
The Executive Suite on the 7th floor: This break room looked quite large and luxurious in the photos and description online. In reality it was tiny and pretty useless. There was a nice Flavia coffee, espresso, hot chocolate machine that we used a number of times. The ice machine was also nice. When we arrived there were a few snacks on the counter and various cold drinks and also one muffin that looked moldy. After coming back from shopping that evening the snacks were all gone, the drinks were all gone, and the room was basically empty. In the morning the room looked exactly the same way. When we checked out at 11am, the snack room was again, empty of snacks and drinks. We had hoped to have a few nice snacks for the trip home, but there were none to be found. We asked the housekeeper if she had any snacks, and she said they would be filled up at 12 noon, which is not very convenient for those people who need to check out in the morning.

Overall we give this hotel 3 stars.

This was my 3rd time staying at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve but each experience has been great! The staff is always helpful. Check in is always a BREEZE and it is mercifully QUICK because each time we arrive it is after a long night of travel and we are exhausted!!! The rooms are always very clean and the beds are amazing. This time we had a king room and the "rain shower" shower was so wonderful!!! They even had a makeup removal wipe on the sink for me!!! I'm going to try to find it because it was really great! I love having the black-out shade so we can get some sleep when we arrive. This hotel is close to so many things, you don't have to go far for shopping, entertainment, food or the highway! Parking is never an issue with the garage. We also got an amazing bottle of wine from VINO, downstairs (Moscato d'Asti) and the bartender let us borrow wine glasses so we wouldn't have to use plastic cups. I always book with Julia James Wright and she ALWAYS takes GREAT care of me!!!! She is truly amazing!!!
