“Great breakfast!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2014

Family restaurant with great food! Little old in the decor but the staff is friendly and the prices were ok. I recommend the breakfast and they close at 8:00 p.m. most evenings so be aware of that.

“Supper”

The food was good, reasonably priced, and the waitress was friendly. The restaurant appeared to be clean and well lighted.

“Tried and true”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

Whenever we are on I-68 around mealtime near Hancock, MD, we head for Weaver's. We have never been disappointed, Today my wife had a good hamburger on the day when the New York Times had an article on how to cook the perfect hamburger. I had clam strips, crisp and tasty. Best of all was the coconut cream pie from their bakery. The display case at the entrance is hard to pass without buying a pie to take home. Our waitress, perhaps a student working for the summer, needed frequent prompting to get lemon for iced tea, ketchup and mustard for the burger, and refills on the tea. She forgot the rolls that came with the clam dinner.

Great stop for cyclers! Plenty of parking out front, friendly welcoming service and INCREDIBLE pies! I highly recommend the Caramel Apple.

“Good home-town food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2014

We found this place on our way home from a road trip to Chicago. It has the real down-home style cooking you find in small towns. We were there on a Sunday when they have a special menu. The fried chicken and ham steak were both wonderful. On other days of the week they don’t have the same selections, but the food is most likely just as good. There is a small bakery at the front where we bought some cookies, and the blueberry pie we had for dessert at dinner was very good and fresh.
