Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us, the Hampton Hagerstown. We value your loyalty to the Hilton Family of Hotels. We are pleased to know you recommend our hotel and look forward to seeing you again.
I stayed in this property for two days in march/2012 and it was superb. The room is large, clean, nicely kept and quiet. The staff is friendly and everything went as expected for a Hampton Inn.
Thank you for staying with us, The Hampton Hagerstown. I will pass on your kind words to our staff. We hope to see you again in the near future. Thanks for your business!
By mistake we booked here instead of the one on I 81 but glad we did. An older location but clean inside, friendly staff and nearer to restaurants. Because it is right on the corner of two busy streets traffic noise could be heard and the in room refigerator cycled on and off all night as my wife can attest. No microwave but did have a bathroom fan. Easily back on to I 81 in the morning.
The hotel was perfectly OK but what I found really outstanding was Larry, the person who was in front desk as we arrived. We had a problem with our hired car and he was so kind and helpful that we have no words to thank him. We tried to find this hotel email to tell him how much we appreciate what he did for us but we didn't manage, that's why I decided to write this review.
Most of times people are what make an experience really different so, as far as we are concerned, Larry was that person.
Thank you again, Larry.
Hotel ratings are fairly simple.
1.) Is it clean? Yes it was
2.) is the bathroom usable? Never took a shower in a hotel that didn't have a fan in the
bathroom. Talk about fog!
3.) Are the beds comfortable? During the night the sheets came off the bed, perhaps
because of the lumps in the bed?
4.) Is the room temperature ok? Yes it was
5.) Is it quiet? Perhaps to the people yelling in the halls!

I looked back in my records and it was $99 a night, this trip $119. Ok, so I should have gone to a Motel 6.
The hotel was clean and inexpensive and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. We arrived a little earlier than expected and they went out of their way to accomodate and get us into a room quickly. The breakfast in the am had a lot of options and the attendant was so polite and kind. We would definitely stay here again.
