This was our first stay at this particular hotel, although several friends had stayed there in the past. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. The clerk asked if double beds was OK. When told that I had booked a king size bed, she promptly changed the room she planned to provide with one having a king size bed. The room was on the fifth floor and was next to the elevator. We never heard a thing. The hot water was plentiful and fast. The bathroom was decent sized. The room had a couch and chair. Only two minor negatives about the room were noted. A table lamp didn't work. It needed a new light bulb. The chair and sofa had old potato chips and debris from previous occupants under and beside the cushions. That can be easily solved, if the cleaning crew pays attention. The HVAC system worked well. The room-darkening curtains did their job. The TV was a LG flat screen with some HD programming, which was a nice touch. Overall, I liked the hotel and plan to stay there again when I go to Hagerstown. The service at the restaurant and quality of the food is another story. But the hotel, room and staff was good.

The front desk staff are excellent! Extremely friendly, and remember who you are (well, especially after 2 weeks!), and are very helpful. Looked up my Wyndham Rewards number and credited my room after I had been there several days. Prices are reasonable, breakfast is good, with a decent variety. I must admit, I am spoiled by Hampton and HI Express beds with clean duvets instead of foam blankets, but everything was clean and neat.

Room Tip: sixth floor is well set up, room was nicer than the fourth floor room that I was in previously.
