We pass Hagerstown every year on our trip south to Florida, we had stayed at this location for two or three years and enjoyed our comfortable room. For some reason Marriott built a new Courtyard about a one minute walk away across the parking lot. We also enjoyed the Courtyard, with it's excellent Bistro.
This year, the Spring Hill Suites was less expensive than the Courtyard ( and includes breakfast), so we went back to Spring Hill. The hotel is clean, in excellent condition, our bathroom is larger than manyin large hotels, and the extra room is appreciated. The choice is yours, you cannot go wrong with either choice!

Great staff, the room was very clean, comfortable bed, The breakfast was wonderful. I will stay there again. on my way through MD. A last minute change of plans to attend the 150th aniversery of the battle of Antietem resulted in no rooms available near by. this is a half hour drive away, but worth the trip

Spent the night on the way to Washington, DC for work. Stopped off at the Spring Hill Suites as a regular within the Marriott chain. Room was very clean the staff was very friendly, both upon check-in and check-out. They provided many restaurant selections and directions to local shopping. (The hotel is right next store to a mall and there is a Premium Outlet Mall about 5 miles east on I-70.

Would stay here again if opportunity presented itself. Breakfast was usual with eggs, fruits, waffles, and danish. Not bad. Hot-tub was great and equipment to work out. Good stay.

Room Tip: Since back of hotel is facing the interstate, ask for a room facing the front of the hotel.

Exactly what I have come to expect from a Spring Hill Suites, lollipops, good breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds.

We were just staying overnight on the way to pick our kids up from camp. This hotel was exactly what I had hoped it would be. I will probably plan to stay here again next year when I pick up my kids from camp.

Thanks for a comfortable night.

The SpringHill Suites in Hagerstown met with my expectations. The hotel was clean, with reasonably quick Internet service (though it was annoying that I had to accept their terms and conditions over and over again on my iPad). My room was on the first floor, down the wing behind the reception desk. I was initially concerned it might be loud, but the hall entrance was actually on the floor below me, so there was no exterior or hallway noise to speak of. The staff were engaging and tried to be helpful, though it seemed that they didn't know the restaurants of the local area that well, when asking for recommendations. Breakfast was passable, with the standard fare, though nothing to make special note of. The only downside, which has nothing to do with the SpringHill itself, is the lack of non-fast food or chain restaurants in the area. If you can live on Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc., you'll be fine, but if you're looking for even a mid to fine dining experience, I felt I was in the wrong place for that. I'd stay again, and favor the amenities (such as the complimentaty breakfast) of the SpringHill over the Courtyard that shares a parking lot.
