I was surprised this hotel did not do that well with its ratings but I was glad that I went by the positive remarks instead of the negative. We found this hotel to have everything -large, bright, clean rooms, pleasant staff, WIFI that worked with no problems and a great location with lots of places within walking distance.
My husband and I stayed here in April on our way to New Orleans. It started our trip on a positive note. Twenty minutes away by car is Fort Frederick State Park. We went there after we checked in and again the next morning. There was a special living history event “Annual Market Fair” being held there and my husband was looking forward to attending. This park is great for history buffs or just for a walk through a beautifully kept state park.
Next door to the hotel is an Outback Restaurant, as well as, another restaurant that specializes in barbecue. Most of the area has a sidewalk, which leads to an open mall with other fast food restaurants, grocery store and CVS. So if you forget something – the hotel is close to all your needs.
The free breakfast is wonderful. Everything is displayed in a pleasant appetizing way. The fresh fruit is plentiful and tasty. My husband’s favorite was the already made omelets. For one night or a few, this hotel is great.More
