“Ideal for Boaters”

We came here via boat. The marina is attached (but separate). The rooms were spacious, the staff courteous and the cookies fantastic. There were several excellent restaurants in walking distance. The only thing that could have been improved is a courtesy shuttle.

I've stayed at this hotel twice in 6 months for one two-night and one three-night stay over Memorial Day Weekend. It's a great location; right on Kent Narrows. You can see boats from your room's window. This is one of the nicer HGI's I've visited. Along with the unique location, the room interiors are pleasant, and as mentioned by other travelers, the beds are really comfy. I like the different settings on the clock/MP3 player--for example, there's rain, waves, etc. This was very relaxing. All areas looked cleaned and well-tended.

There are numerous excellent restaurants close by--Fisherman's, Annie's, Harris's, The Narrows. Some are really close walking distance. I was worried that it would be noisy with partiers at the Jetty, but I didn't hear a thing outside. There was an issue Sunday night with partiers inside. Was a small group of intoxicated people who seemed to be having a party in the hall. I called the front desk, and he was upstairs in no time. Addressed the issue, then he seemed to be observing from a short distance away, and when they started to get loud again, he was firm that they had to knock it off. After that, no issue at all.

The breakfast is good and convenient. They have all the usual items, plus made to order omelets, and a yummy variety of pastries. This hotel is expensive, but it really is a pleasant location and will make you feel like you're on vacation, even if you aren't.

Enjoyed weekend (2 night minimum) but price was high in comparison with some other local hotels. Enjoyed balcony overlooking the Narrows watching the fishing/cruising boats. Thought the band noise from the Jetty would be a problem, but proved to not be an issue. Hotel staff was familiar with Annapolis and shared some good tips on new stores in the area. Breakfast was very good, but the accomodations were a bit tight as there was a wedding party there..... Overall impression was good and we would stay there again.

Room Tip: Jr Suite was good for the view and to have a balcony - but pricey

We stayed in a King-Whirlpool room. The pictures show the layout. It was pretty good. Nice tub and it worked well and was clean. The room was pretty clean. Housekeeping was lax in a few areas but nothing too terrible. Comfortable bed and Hilton is great with its clean white bedding.
The views from the King-Whirlpool rooms are not the best at the hotel and I would suggest asking for a room at the back of the hotel. These seem to have the best view. We gave the whirlpool room a try and it did have a water view but next time I would not want to look at the Jetty (and its garbage cans) along with the water. All rooms have a balcony.
There is a nice area to walk behind the hotel on the water and maybe even eat breakfast. We did not try the pool and hottub but the pool looked small but decent.
Service was great and the front desk were very inviting.
We ate at the Narrows and had drinks at the Jetty. The Narrows is fancy and great. The Jetty is the exact opposite but fun too. Crowd was a little rough but they have an amazing view.
All in all this was a nice place for a one-night getaway, with a trail, restaurants and a water view. The price was too high for the room you get, but the view is pretty neat.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the back of the hotel for the best view. King-Whirlpool rooms do not have the best...

We have been going to this hotel for several years (almost since it opened). It is a nice getaway with several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are large, clean and still look nice. There is also a workout room and pool although we have never used these. The view is very nice, but nothing spectacular. For the price, this hotel is OK (I think for the location it is overpriced). We always ask for a high floor but the last couple of years they have not accommodated our request, for no apparent reason (we spend Thursday night there and they certainly do not appear full). As I said, we like it as a nice getaway since there are nice restaurants nearby, but as it gets more expensive and less accommodating, we may have to look elsewhere.

Staff was very nice. Hotel is fairly new in a great location on the water near lots of restaurants. Just wasnt overly impressed with room at a price of over $200 on a Monday night! Plus... I could hear the guy in the toilet in the next room!!!

The rooms are typical and above Holiday Inn. And probably worth the $20 difference. But the wind whistles under the door. We are provided with a muffler to stuff under the door as well as a white sound machine. This is a nice place but until the whistling noise is lessened we will return to HI.
