The food was excellent - we had the blue crab dip, small plate crab cake, small plate shrimp and grits. The portions of the small plates were perfect! We also had the key lime dessert. It was delicious. One thing we really like about this place is the way they have organized their wine selections - plenty of by -the-glass selections of good wines, and they maintain the prices such that buying by the glass isn't more expensive, allowing you to try several wines or change your wine with your food choice.
The only downside of the entire wonderful evening was the gazpacho - needs to be totally revised.

We were going to a memorial service on the Eastern Shore and stayed at Kent Narrows to forego the Bay Bridge traffic. We overnighted at the Hilton and chose not to get the free breakfast there because of all the people waiting - you would think they were giving away gold. We walked over to Bridges and had a beautiful table overlooking the Narrows and had a leisurely brunch. It was very relaxing and the view was great, watching all types of boat sail through the Narrows.

This was a magical evening, a warm breeze, awesome acoustical
live music, sunset celebration, indoor/outdoor seating, elegant
surroundings on the waterfront, mere steps from the Hilton Garden
Inn. A chef creates magnificent gourmet food with seafood as the star, but other items available too. Classy, serene, but still relaxed
and casual. The service was impeccable too. We will return !

Bridges is easily accessible by land (car) or water (boat). There is plenty of transient space for boaters to tie up. The western side of the restaurant is build over the water on Wells Cove off Prospect Bay. It has floor to ceiling windows that slide away so that the outdoors becomes part of the experience. While the menu offered farely common bar food, however it was cooked to perfection. The small pizzas are excellent!

Tip: Be sure to time your visit for sunset. Arrive well before to secure a great table and to beat the rush/wait list.

Thank you for your review. I wondered after reading it if you had stumbled upon some of our bar seating during happy hour and didn't get an opportunity to see our full dinner menu. We have so much to offer from lite fare, pizzas, small plates, entrees and more.I hope in the future you can try more of the menu. Bridges would love to have you again!

My friends from Baltimore request Bridges not only for the wonderful food but the relaxing atmosphere. If weather permits and seats are available on the porch, it is a not to be missed experience for dining on the Eastern Shore.
