Great family food. Very fast service. Had a big breakfast there twice. Large place with lots of seats, but also lots of servers. A lot of locals eat there, but also a biker group dropped by for breakfast.

Thank Bruce L

A local establishment since the 1950's, the diner has a big menu. Thick shakes are very tasty and filling! But it seems I always order their friend chicken which is excellent!! Fried in peanut oil, it has a lovely taste and is quite moist. This should be a "must stop" place on Rt 50!!

As the six of us, three generations, were leaving for a long weekend on Tilghman Island, my son said that either going or coming we had to stop at Holly's for the fried chicken so we did that going down. Excellent choice...crunchy, not greasy, good southern style side to go with it. The desserts looked good too, althought we didn't try those. It's just on the east side of the Chesapeake Bay bridge.

I am actually sorry to have to write this because so many people seem to have had good experiences here. Sadly, we were not among them. We stopped for lunch while shopping on the eastern shore. We were not expecting great food from a diner like place, but we were hoping for better than what we received. My crab cake sandwich was edible, but tasted of vinegar rather than crab. My husbands hamburger, how can you hurt a hamburger, simply had no taste and stayed with him uncomfortably for the rest of the evening before exiting violently. Service by the young waitress was fine. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but neither of us would ever eat here again.

Comfortable, almost humble, almost retro, this restaurant prepared the most delicious food. Our party of four sampled a variety of dishes and we were pleased with our breakfast choices..
