We used to drive to Charm City's Little Italy for good Italian food but no more. Why entertain a stray bullet with your name on it and have to pay for parking? You can park, dine safely and locally, eat great Italian food, reasonably priced and generous portions in Glen Burnie.
The owner Nick is on top of his game and his management staff are constantly engaged in making customers happy. That means the wait staff are at your service. The new Sports Bar is a big hit with dozens of large flat screen TVs, drink specials and 1/2 price apps during Happy Hour.
The food is outstanding with many seafood dishes, specially prepared by Chef Jesus. I can't help myself but I truly like the combo Roman Holiday dinner with baked lasagna, chicken parmigiana and fettuccine alfredo ($17). Sometimes I delete the alfredo and go with spaghetti and meatballs. My other favorite dinner is the Paella Italiano ($17) with shrimp, mussels, calamari, and sausage over penne pasta in tomato & basil sauce. YUM. How do you put a happy face on this one?
My wife's favorites are the single crab cake dinner ($17), eggplant parmigiana over angel hair pasta ($13) dinner and her most favorite - Shrimp & Crab Penne ($20) with large chunks of crab meat, sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus with a white cream sauce. We always end up with leftover food to enjoy another day.
Don't forget all meals come with fresh made bread sticks and large salad bowl with creamy Italian dressing. I also like those $4 Wild Berry or Peach fresh Sangrias made during Happy Hour and wife likes those new $4 Orange or Red Grapefruit crushes.
AGAIN, delicious Italian food and plenty of good service. And don't forget to stop for Carry-Out.
