“Good Pizza, Slightly Expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012 via mobile

Coal Fire's thing is cooking pretty much everything in a coal oven including pizza and wings.

I ordered a Margherita (spinach, mozzarella, tomato sauce) pizza and an order of wings. The wings are baked in the coal oven with thyme and onions. They're healthier than normal wings, which I enjoy, and different which is usually a good thing.

The pizza is thin crust, which was pretty good considering I'm not usually a fan of thin crust pizza. The sauce had very good flavor, and everything seemed of higher quality than your standard pizza chain.

However, the price was pretty high for the pizza, so the quality better be high.

Overall, pretty good pizza, just a pretty high price to pay for it.

“Great thin-crust pizza, as good as in Italy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

It's really hard to make a non-greasy thin-crust pizza, but these guys have figured it out, something to do with a very hot oven. The toppings were fresh and tasty, also. It costs a little more than other places, and takes a little more time, but it's money and time well-spent.

Note: this is a small local chain, with other outlets in Maryland. This branch just opened.
