Nice room (although view of the roof and AC). Updated bathroom. Hardest part was when security guard chased people out of the concierge floor, in an inappropriate manner. Location was near restaurants.

What a fun place! Right on a large pond with colorful paddle boats. The pond is also surrounded by restaurants, shops, a theater and a small amusement park. The food is good and the help is lovely - especially in the Concierge Lounge (from which there is also a beautiful sunset view). The entire hotel is spotless. We were there for a convention and were pleasantly surprised at the delicious food served "in massive quantities" at lunch. Overall, I'd say that Marriott can be proud of this one.

Flight was cancelled at Dulles and all airports near the airport were booked....found the closest property 30 miles away but was so tired I took it and a cab ride later was in a nice king bed room with a view of the lake...too tired to look out at 10 pm so went to bed...they have a breakfast buffet in the morning for about 19.00 but opted to walk across the street to Starbucks. Room was quiet, safe and comfortable...would recommend if in the area.
Room tip: ask for a water view..

Have stayed here twice.
Rooms are good, location is great with nearby places to eat.
Close to I270, route 355 and business places.
Good place to relax, good/decent breakfast.
Recommend this place whether travelling for business or pleasure.

The hotel is located in the Washingtonian Center. Plenty of restaurants, shops and even a little man made lake with paddle boats!!! You can jog around the lake. Comfortable rooms and a decent gym. We have returned several times.

I needed an escape for a couple of days and this was just what I needed.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were great.
The hotel is located near to restaurants and shopping; and the boardwalk offered the opportunity to walk along lake and disconnect.
