I have gone to this restaurant many times, and had good meals. Unfortunately, today was not the case. The person taking my order did not press the correct button (you get in line and a cashier presses buttons on a cash register). When I got my salad, it looked wonderful with chicken freshly cooked on the grill and good lettuce. It had to be sent back because they put dressing on it. I ordered it without dressing. If it had been a little bit of dressing I wouldn't have sent it back, but it was too much.
They could have put the same chicken on fresh lettuce, since the chicken was sliced and put on top of the salad. Instead, they gave me chicken that was dry and hard. Most of the lettuce was not good. It had lots of hard pieces in it. After eating a piece of the chicken and a little bit of lettuce, I could feel that this was going to cause problems with my digestion. So I chose not to eat it. I came home, took some Tums, and I'm writing this review before making a good lunch for myself.
The customer should Never be punished!
Why they chose to give me sub-par lettuce and dry, hard chicken is beyond me. I don't know if this place is under new management or what?
I wasted my time and money. It was an unpleasant experience, and it changed the energy at my table.
The reason I'm writing this review is because there's a lesson to be learned here. Whenever we go to restaurants where the cashier takes our order, make sure to Read The Receipt to see that the order was taken correctly.
My advice to the manager at this restaurant: When a customer sends an order back, make sure the cooks give that customer the best quality food they have. Don't replace excellent chicken with dried out, hard chicken. DO NOT PUNISH THE CUSTOMER! And it might be wise to teach your employees how to use the cash register correctly.
