Every thing was Very nice and clean. The only two issues were the heater and that there was no condidioner in the room. There was no middle it was either very hot or you had to turn it off and be chilly. Everything else was very nice and the people were pleasant

I had made this reservation after learning they declare themselves as a 'pet friendly' hotel. We arrived and checked in. The room designated as a pet-friendly room had stale smoke odor inside and we could not accept that room. Luckily, the night desk was very accommodating and reassigned us to another room. We paid the $25.00 fee (per night) for the pet (small dog) and slept well in the cleaner room. The next day, I left the room while my wife remained behind until I returned from my assignment. My wife had to check out at noon (also pre-arranged by the night desk) and was planning on sitting in the lobby area, reading her book and attending to the dog, waiting for my return. She was soon accosted by the day desk that she could not remain in the hotel lobby nor allow the dog to walk through the halls. Where was she to go? Outdoors the temperature was sub-freezing and unsafe. She was basically forced to roam the halls, CARRYING the dog, because the day desk insisted she could not be there ("those are the rules"). <<<UNACCEPTABLE>>>. How is one supposed to even consider going to a hotel where the staff refuse to accommodate a paying customer??

Room Tip: Insist on inspecting a room before signing on the agreement form. Do not consider them to be pet fr...

This motel is one of the best budget motels I've stayed at. The design was very well thought out. For example, even when the bathroom light is turned off, the light gives off a very dim glow, just a watt or two, but enough to find the toilet in the dark. That way I didn't wake my family by turning on the light/fan in the middle of the night when I used the bathroom. The bathroom also has a very long countertop, always useful. The showerhead worked well. The coffee maker is in the bathroom, which is great for those of us that don't like the smell of coffee stinking up the bedroom.

The bedroom is spacious. There is about 6 feet of wall with no furniture which is a good place to store luggage, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't see a luggage rack as this was a good place to set it. Fortunately, the closet has a shelf where we could set some of the luggage. It also has a top shelf for additional storage. The mini-fridge is fairly large, and there is a small microwave as well. The beds are quite comfortable and come with four pillows each. The flatscreen TV sits in a cabinet which reduces sound bleeding into the room behind it. The sitting chair is quite comfortable. The desk chair is more like a simple dining room chair, not very good for working any length of time. That could be upgraded. The room was exceptionally quiet.

The breakfast is fairly minimal but adequate. There were two types of cereal, and several types of breakfast pastry plus a microwave for heating up French toast, waffles, etc. If you want better choices, go out for breakfast and consider this a snack to tide you over. We were in a rush so it was great to be able to grab something on the go.

The common facilities looked good but we didn't use them. There were vending machines with a lot of choices, lots of tourist info, etc. The decor is nice. The entire motel was very clean. The design is intelligent. For example, there is a common space with doors before the hall, so the cold outside air does not directly enter the hallway to the rooms. That common area buffers the shock of the cold. Room doors open to a hallway, not outside. Not only is this more secure, but moderates the inside temperature.

The service was good. We asked for late checkout and were given an extra hour. We were able to check in 15 minutes early. The staff were friendly and helpful. No attitude like some other reviewers mentioned.

I cannot think of a single negative about this motel. Most anyone should be very happy staying at this motel.

Lets start with check in.....arrived at hotel walk in to a lady playing on her phone. When she decided to great us was very rude and short, acted as if we were bothering her rather then interested in helping us. Only question she asked was smoking or non-smoking, not how many beds, size bed, ect. Several times asked for rate and the lady flat out ignored us and while waiting for something to print went back to her phone! After waiting several minutes after documented printed lady was still playing with her phone and I had to ask her if we could get room key. She then replied rudely that she was waiting for print out so could sign and I replied that happen several minutes ago! Finally get room key then was told drive around side of building to get into your room. Now lets talk about the room......heat was turned off in the room so it was freezing cold and had a funky mildew odor. Then walk into bathroom to be greeted by a nasty sticker on the mirror explaining how many towels as well as size were in the room and would be charged if any were missing. So I took it upon myself to count the towels and did match. Called front desk once no answer, waited a few minutes called again no answer, then decided to walk to front desk to ensure not going to be charged when same rude lady asked "what do you want!" I informed her that I want to make sure not charged for any towels because numbers don't add up, she responded don't worry will note. Go back to room to look around to find pubic hair in the bath tub drain, stains on sheets on one of the beds, bloody pillows, more signs from management about charging extra money and lets not forget pipe leaking and got to listen to it drip all night. If was able to go elsewhere would have but because of situation had to stay. When checking out in morning was greeted by a very friendly young lady and informed her of the issues. She informed us that the manager was not currently available and said we could call later. We left the hotel and went to go get lunch, everything they had out for breakfast looked dried out and rotten, at which time we reviewed the bill to notice that the rude lady at night did not apply AAA discount. So in conclusion if you like to be greeted by rude people and happy to stay in a dirty room with signs all over yelling at you then this is your place!

Room Tip: Best tip................don't stay here!
