This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we celebrated our anniversary during our stay. After having dinner nearby, we arrived at 6pm and were welcomed by David who got us acquainted with all of the amenities. After that it was a relaxing night in the Banneker Room. Winding down in the jetted tub, warming up by the fire and enjoying a few movies on the comfy bed. In the morning we were refreshed by the rainfall shower and enjoyed a hot chocolate and french vanilla coffee from the beverage machine just outside our room.
We opted for the later breakfast at 9:30am and it was amazing. Fresh blueberries, strawberries and whipped cream, a large selection of hot teas and juices, blueberry almond french toast and thick grilled ham enjoyed in the sun room with views of the lake.
We will definitely stay again! I am scared to go anywhere else since I think we experienced the best already! Thank you David and Susan!
