While the trails aren't long or demanding, the park is well worth a spring visit. Went from the parking lot down to the river. It's worth going into the train tunnel below, but be attentive to locomotive horns. The tunnel isn't long and you can hear the horn a half mile away. It's agreat place to get up close and personal with a freight train, and worth a wait to see one.
