So, two couples, on the road after a late Sunday brunch, hungry again just after 4 -- not exactly the magic day or hour to be looking for a meal. We don't know Easton, were just passing through really, and happened upon Doc's. And what a lucky find for us. The tables in front give you some buffer from the large screens in the back, so we could all hear each other. Our waitress was great, smart, efficient and attentive without hanging over us. We shared a seafood nachos, which was an excellent starter. One chose a burger with home made, shaved potato crisps-- more substantial than chips, lighter than fries. One had a spinach salad which she declared the best ever. Two of us opted for the salad with crab cake-- and what a crab cake it was! Plenty of tender lump meat, perfectly seasoned. It's my new "best place for" now. We're not drinkers so it was not important to us, but there appeared to be a wide variety of cocktails and some artisanal beers available. As long as it's not a day the Ravens are playing, we'll be back!
