This was a fun place to visit and the coffee was good! The service was quick and correct. I even saw a Bald Eagle fly over the car.

“One of the better coffee roasters / shops on the eastern shore.”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

Audrey & I have been experiencing locally roasted coffee all over the country for the past few years. Rise Up Coffee is one of the better places. It is located in an early 20th century gas station / repair shop. You can see & SMELL the beans being roasted in the back. Along with comfortable couches & chairs with free wifi you will enjoy a great cup of coffee or other coffee drinks. One of things that sets this place apart besides the cool atmosphere is the staff. They are extremely friendly & helpful along with being fun! Rise Up has scones & fruit pies that are excellent. We enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of parking and you could buy Rise Up Coffee at the country store on Tilghman Island. Stop by when exploring Easton/ St. Micheals & Tilghman Island. You will enjoy it like we did.

“Excellent Coffee”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

This place has turned me into a regular coffee drinker again. You will always get a great cup of coffee here. And the staff are pleasant, cheerful, competent and just plain fun.

My understanding is that they buy beans directly from small organic growers in South and Central America and roast them right here in Easton.

“Coffee beans are roasted the night before; fruit pies like my grandmother made”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

Now I have to give this coffee shop a 5 out of 5. They roast the coffee beans the night before. So if you like coffee that has been freshly roasted and ground this place is for you. They make 1 coffee every day for that day so it could be like Tazmanian, Ethopian, etc. The coffee changes every day but is always roasted the night before. I find I like coffee that has been grown in volcanic soil so I don't always enjoy the coffee. I also found that roasting the night before doesn't seen to change the taste to me. So I prefer the volcanic ground coffee. I call and ask what coffee they have for the day and they are more than happy to tell you. They are very proud of their coffee and their roasting. What I did find is that they have the best fruit pies maybe better than my grandmother's. The crust is so thin it is almost non exsistent and it is very good. The fruit tastes like fruit and not like it has a ton of sugar in it. Although the fruit pie is on the expensive side; it is worth going there for !!!! They also have other desert breakfast items like scones, etc. But if you like fruit pies you won't notice the rest. They will put whipped cream on your pie and you can either eat it there or take it with you. They have an area with chairs, etc where you can eat and it is very relaxing. If you are in Easton you should give this place a try it is easy off and on route 50 on Dover road. It has a bright yellow front that says Rise Up Coffee in big letters and a neon sign that says pie you can hardly miss it. They are on facebook. PS My friends really enjoy the coffee as a treat.
